Poor job on carpet cleaning, it’s a shame I can’t add photos here, they’d tell the story better than words, but the carpet looked exactly the same as before the cleaning, I was shocked when I saw the result. Literally all the stains and all the dirt were still there. Some of the stains they left I was able to remove with a wet cloth, even sent them a video of me doing this, that’s how ‘tough’ they were. High traffic areas remained ‘greyish’, they said it’s a discoloration due to the carpet age which can’t be addressed, but the carpet is 1.5yo only. The company agreed to refund partially, which is better than nothing, but not to fix the issue, despite they have a 72hr guarantee for EOT cleaning and the issue was raised the same day, before even receiving a check out report, as the quality was simply not acceptable. Now dealing with an unhappy landlord. EOT cleaning itself is far from perfect as well, they sent just 1 lady to clean the whole house which means she had to stay till 11pm to finish the job. She didn’t seem to be a professional cleaner (I mean, we all can clean our houses, paint walls etc. but there’s a difference between a pro and an average human being trying to do something), it looked like she was trying her best, but toilet left dirty, visible traces from wiping on all shiny surfaces like kitchen sink and glass, tiles behind the hob and in the main bathroom left dirty etc. Overall, as you can assume from the above, do not recommend. I booked an end-of-tenancy clean, and they did a great job—the team was thorough and professional, leaving the place spotless.
However, I would recommend clarifying what is included in the clean, especially when it comes to kitchen appliances. There was some confusion over whether both compartments of my oven would be cleaned, as it seemed only one was included.
For future customers, I’d suggest confirming exactly which appliances and compartments are covered to ensure expectations are clear. Overall, though, the cleaning itself was excellent!
