Sarah has catered for our family a number of times now and did a farewell dinner for my son and his wife returning to New Zealand. Whilst there were only 6 of us, Sarah's attention to detail was faultless. As usual, the meal and the canapes beforehand was absolutely delicious. My son said it was the best prawn cocktail he had ever tasted! We would never hesitate to use Sarah for special occasions and I cannot recommend her highly enough. More...

What a relief I had hired Piglet’s Kitchen to celebrate my Birthday on 18th Feb. the day of the big storm Eunice. No way would we have ventured out but Piglet’s Kitchen turned up on time, and was very efficient. We were able to have a most enjoyable lunch, consisting of a perfect prawn cocktail, excellent venison steaks plus all the trimmings, and a gorgeous chocolate/brandy slice with fresh berries and cream, in the cosy surroundings of our own home.

We had a socially distanced celebration in the garden for a 70th birthday. The food from Piglet’s Kitchen was absolutely delicious, delivered on time and easy to serve. Would definitely use again.

An excellent experience in all respects. The food produced was delicious, a coronation chicken with accompanying rice salad and a strawberry and raspberry meringue roulade for a birthday lunch. The seasoning and sweetness for the chicken and coulis was just right, so to the price of the dishes made! I have no hesitation in recommending and using Piglet’s Kitchen again in the future. Sarah has provided food for us on a couple of occasion.
First was excellent canapes at home for a drinks party with neighbours & friends
& latterly a 3 course dinner at home for 8 - the food was fantastic, & Sarah catered for 2 of our guests who were vegetarian . we had wonderful tomato tatin, then a venison & beef with apricots casserole with dauphinoise potatoes & veg (vegetarian option was a lentil & veg moussaka), then delicious baked lemon cheesecake & a chocolate mousse cake to finish.

I have just come home from another lovely lunch party at Piglet’s Kitchen. Canapés were taken in the sitting room before we were invited to the dining room where the table was beautifully themed. The main course was delicious chicken supremes which had been marinated in a juniper and port sauce, served with pomme purée, broccoli and the sauce. Pudding was a very light sticky toffee pudding. Delicious. Coffee and chocolates in a mini cracker followed. The other diners were good company and interesting; it’s always fun to meet new people as well as old friends. More...

Whether it is a ladies lunch or any other event, the food is excellent and prepared with fresh and local produce. It is prepared to a very high standard and would recommend Piglets Catering for any event from a Farmers lunch to a private dinner party - in fact any event!

Sarah was quick to respond to our request and knew immediately what we required. She sent us a good choice of menus and was professional and efficient. All the food we selected was beautifully prepared and was delicious. We had a three course evening meal followed by a buffet luncheon the following day, which was all enjoyed by our party of 14 people of various ages. I have just come home from a Piglet's Kitchen lunch. We started in the conservatory with drinks and home made canapés enjoying the tranquil surrounds and chatting with one another. Then Sarah invited us to the table which was beautifully presented. We had the most delicious marinated gammon with roasted broccoli, a potato cake, aubergine surprise and a fabulous sauce. There was a "lemony" lemon tart with home-made ice cream - coffee and chocolates to follow.
We were an interesting group of ladies and the conversation flowed easily spanning many topics.

I asked Sarah to cater for a working business lunch at my home. Her attention to detail and getting it just right for me was outstanding.
