Q&As

Passionate About Care Ltd. was established in 2015 by our director, Jane Legerton, who wanted to create a care company built on compassion, quality, and a personal touch. With many years of experience in the care sector—ranging from domiciliary care to residential care and management—Jane recognised a need for a provider that prioritises matching clients with the right carers rather than simply filling placements. From this vision, Passionate About Care was formed as a privately owned, independent family company dedicated to delivering outstanding home care.
We proudly serve clients in Havant, Waterlooville, Petersfield, and surrounding areas. Unlike large multinational care companies, our focus is not on rapid expansion but on providing exceptional, person-centred care to a core group of clients, supported by our dedicated and experienced carers.
We understand that discussing care for a loved one can be a difficult conversation. Accepting the need for extra support is never easy, but with the right guidance, it doesn’t have to be overwhelming.
At Passionate About Care, we are committed to improving our clients' quality of life. We begin by meeting with the client, encouraging the involvement of family and friends, to understand their needs and preferences. Our philosophy is simple: we don’t take away independence—we support it.
We know that choosing between home care and residential care can be a tough decision. Our service is designed to help clients remain in the comfort of their own homes for as long as safely possible, because we all know—there’s no place like home.

Staff Support and Training: Recognizing the increased pressures, organizations offered additional training and mental health support to their staff, ensuring they were equipped to handle the evolving situation.

Community Engagement: Engaging with local communities helped in understanding specific needs, combating misinformation, and building trust, which was vital for effective service delivery during the pandemic.
