“It doesn’t hurt to ask!” An “ORANGE SOLAR” van caught my eye, parked in Dibden Purlieu. I approached the van and was greeted by a very personable guy. I enquired whether his company were able to fix my solar panels which I thought were failing as the readings were particularly low. Alan, as I found out later was his name, said they were working in the area.. and their reputation was spreading via word of mouth. He wasn’t able to say if my request was possible but he’d pass my information onto the boss engineer John.. who would contact me. Good to his word, John sent round an engineer to view my problem. Tarsem was very polite, and thorough and reassured me my panels were working fine, and it was the weather which had caused the glitch. I was Soo relieved, and grateful for the service I had received from Orange Solar.. I can see why they are getting more work in the area, and felt as a local of they deserved recognition. More...

I rang several companies for a quote and advice on a new inverter for our existing solar panels. I received 3 calls back with Orange Solar Systems being the first. John was not a hard salesman and explained that he would be happy to come and check to ensure that the panels were working effectively. Having considered all 3 quotes we decided to go with Orange as although it wasn't the cheapest, which was ridiculously low, Orange was a local company. The 2 guys who came to check the system and make the installation were polite and extremely helpful. We are very happy with our new inverter and so is our smart meter!! More...
