From initially meeting Rick for a quote, then a 5 week kitchen/diner knock through and installation, I have been nothing short of impressed. Rick was prompt throughout and was first class with communication - Rick was also keen to make sure I was 100% happy with everything and went above and beyond with any remedial action (out of Rick’s control). It’s very rare to find someone who actually does what he says, is professional, and is witty enough with a sense of humour. I’ve already been talking to Rick about the next stage of renovations in the house and have no doubt I will be using him again Also a big shout out to the tradesmen who work for him - Tom the Electrician and Darren the Plumber (to name a few) are nothing short of superb, their attention to detail and ensuring I was happy with everything before going ahead was a breath of fresh air; so thank you Rick and Team, you have made the project seamless and we are blown away with the kitchen! Rick from NV8 Projects dismantled our entire office furniture after a leak from a radiator. This was all built in. He rebuilt everything once the flooring was laid. My mum and dad needed a new kitchen fitted so I offered to help find them someone to fit it - came across Rick on Google and was impressed with his excellent reviews. I can honestly say they are all entirely accurate. My parents are over the moon with their new kitchen and so pleased with how Rick managed the project. They hadn't actually purchased a kitchen yet when they first got in touch with Rick so he put them in touch with a supplier he works with who provide very good quality kitchens for a reasonable price. Rick has excellent attention to detail and a high finish and nothing is too much trouble for him. He genuinely cares about the customer being happy with the finished product and won't end the project until they are. He's also just a nice friendly guy with a good sense of humour. He manages all the other work such as electrics and plumbing so the whole project runs smoothly. I also think what he charges is very reasonable considering the standard of finish. We had nine new internal doors installed recently. We are very pleased with the finished work. Following the installation of a new bathroom last year, we had a problem with closing the door. Rick came up with a great way to overcome this issue and along with the lovely replacement door, it works really well. I Google searched for a joiner when a previous one had had let me down to install a new staircase as part of a complete bungalow and annex renovation. Over the next 5 months Rick at NV8 projects has built numerous stud walls, installed 2 kitchens, a staircase, built a bespoke table, installed 2 VELUX windows, door frames and doors, UPVC windows, skirting boards and a loft hatch. I’m sure I’ve missed a few bits off too. From start to finish Rick never let us down, always here when he said he would be and never had a day which didn’t exceed expectations on the amount and quality of work delivered. I honestly don’t know where we would be now without him! Probably still cursing at other unreliable tradesmen! Couldn’t recommend highly enough and will definitely be the first on my list when further works are needed along the line. More...
