Novus Care visits my mother 4 times a day. Care staff are friendly and work to get to know her and her needs. They are all willing to learn the routines and adapt as her needs change. This wonderful team of carers have supported us and our mum through a difficult time. Our mum was an extremely independent woman with increasingly complex needs but wishing to remain in her own home. My father has been receiving care with Novus for about 4 months and we have been absolutely delighted with the service he has received. All the carers are lovely, kind and caring, some of them go above and beyond. My father was very nervous having different people coming in and out of his house and supporting with personal care, but the carers have put him at ease and have been very professional. It is not always easy for the carers as my father has progressing Alzheimer’s with fluctuating levels of cognition and confusion, they are understanding and engage well with him. I have heard of other care company’s who rush the care and spend little time with the customers. Novus always spend the allocated time with my father, which has enhanced social interaction and reduced social isolation. He looks forward to the care visits which lift his mood, and the carers help support with the daily living tasks he can no longer manage independently. My father has also had several falls recently which is part of his condition, the management check on him after the fall to ensure he is ok. If I have any concerns Hayley is always helpful and accommodating, or she gets back to me promptly. I would recommend Novus Care, the service has been very good and they have been flexible; adapting the care as my father’s dementia progresses to ensure a consistent approach and routines where possible ………. thank you Novus management and carers!! I have had Carers from Novus in Watford for some weeks. Initially this was because I was stuck in a wheelchair, with a fractured ankle, in addition to my chronic ill health conditions. But as my leg improved, and this my mobility, the focus moved to supporting my emotional/mental wellbeing. My wife had been extremely unwell in hospital with what was a life threatening condition (from New Year's Day until Easter). The Carers were absolutely superb. They kept me going, with their compassion and humour. Plus doing the practical stuff with which I still struggled. They made good friends with our cockatiels as well.... It feels sad that I no longer need them, and if I could find an excuse to see them still I would. The 'duty persons' in the office are very friendly, and they coped admirably with my last minute changes of visiting times. I can heartily recommend Novus as providers of care in ones home. More...

I joined Novus Care in April 2023 until now. Novus Care company is amazing to work with, the office team they are very very supportive to the carers and to service users together with their families. sometimes the job will be so challenging but the manager and the team they make sure they are there to support in anyway they could that you would love to keep on doing this live in job and also the carers, we support each other with love nowing that this job is not for oneself and have good communication skills between the office staff, the carers service users and their families. Me and my ankle (pretty much smashed, according to the surgeon) have had excellent care from this company. From the initial assessment in January, to the Carer who has just been in, the service has been superb. All the Carers have been very efficient, and are extremely good company. Which is important, as I have not been able to leave our flat, except for hospital visits. So they have been a great support for my mental health. I can wholeheartedly recommend Novus Care. More...

Novus care is the worst company we have ever deal with, it was a nightmare. there staff they don’t know what they doing, there are not trained very well to look after vulnerable old people, they can’t even look after an animal, carers are very rude not very clean they leave the house in such a big mess after the house it was left in a good condition and leaving my mother who is bed bound in a bad position in bed, plus they are scammers coming to the house for lunch visit while they know that my mother she is at the hospital, and I have stop them in front of the door saying that mum she still at the hospital she is not back yet and you guys know about it…. they say ohhh ok, I said we will let you know when she is back, and then they ask if they can coming inside just to made a phone call but the reason they wanted to get in to the house is to scan the QR code to made there payment rise for doing nothing , the lounge camera catch them scanning the QR code as soon as I turned my back, they are lier , taking advantage of people, i really feel sorry for those old people who has no body to check on them. We have only been with Novus for a few weeks after being with another care company and can honestly say my mums experience so far has been excellent, a couple of teething problems at the beginning were sorted out quickly and efficiently by the office staff. My experience with carers is very good, but excellent with Michelle & Debbie (5 stars). Reason for 4 above is that the other night my ceiling lights were left on all night! ! Also if I have a toasted sandwich made on my toasted sandwich maker during my last call he fails to clean it afterwards saying it's too hot to clean!! Well wait a couple of secs??!!
