I seem to be one of a long list of business owners handing money over to this fraudulent company. We handed over £1,200 as a 50% deposit to this firm after they constantly called us to complete our website. The timescale given after we sent them all the files needed to complete our website was 10 working days. From that point onwards they stopped answering phone calls and emails. We eventually emailed them through another company and we were rudely told by Shez to "Do one" and they'd deny ever hearing of us if we left reviews.The company address was a car firm that had never heard of them. 9 months later it is now in the hands of our company solicitors. They took £2000 in advance and delivered nothing but a poorly designed, incomplete website filled with mistakes. AVOID This company built a website for me but used unlicensed pictures that I guess they just found on Google. With stock photo subscriptions being available at very reasonable prices it seems crazy that a so called reputable agency would use Google images. Anyway, the owner of one of the pictures was Reuters who are now requesting £680 for a settlement for using the pictures. Nerds have accepted responsibility but have not made payment and now won't answer calls or return emails. We have written confirmation that they have accepted responsibility so I'm surprised that they want this to go down the legal route as it will end up costing them a hell of a lot more. Anyway, I would recommend avoiding this company but if you do decide to use them, please make sure you check where any pictures they use are sourced from. Otherwise if you get in trouble the Nerds will just go missing!! More...
