I worked for My Homecare for 1 year before going to University to train to be a Paramedic. During the time I worked at this company I gained so many valuable skills and experiences that really helped me prepare for my course. My manager (Jan) was always available for me when issues occurred. I had never been a carer before and she resolved any queries I had. I attended various training courses that developed my skills, insight into the role and the level of care I could give to my clients. The company was really flexible around the college course that I was completing at the time, I could always request extra shifts or take time off when needed. I recommend this company to anyone who has an experience in care or anyone looking to gain an job in care. I thoroughly enjoyed working for this company and was sad to leave. More...
