What do you love most about your job?
No two jobs are the same. From domestic sites to large commercial or industrial sites, everywhere has different challenges. We enjoy working with with clients to figure out what they require and giving our expertise to keep people safe and costs low.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Our career progression had got us to the point of being office based, talking to clients, undertaking consultancy and sorting issues out for the site staff under our control. Then covid hit us all....
Having worked through the pandemic lockdown, we ended up having to answer enquiries, attending sites ourselves and following it up with the consultancy. We realised that we loved being that hands on. And we realised that clients were getting a much better service and product. They were getting proper expert advice on the first call or email rather than enquiries having to be taken before being passed onto the people with the right technical knowledge.

Covid-19 is now another hazard which has been risk assessed with the appropriate measures put in place.
Asbestos surveys
Management surveys - a check for all suspect materials which could be disturbed on a day-to-day basis.
Refurbishment / demolition surveys - undertaken before planned works that may disturb the fabric of the building.
Asbestos removal project management
At Monitor, we have the industry knowledge to organise & manage the removal process using tried & trusted professionals. We can talk you through your options and guide you through every step in the process. Once removals are complete you will be supplied with documentation showing that the works were completed safely and showing that the materials have been disposed of correctly.
Please note, we are independent of removal contractors and do not do the works ourselves to ensure you are provided the best advice.
