How important is a healthy diet to someone’s health and wellbeing?
It's of upmost importance. One cannot emphasise it enough: optimal performance is made of 70% diet and 30% training.
How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
By thoroughly understanding their medical and fitness history, current situation, aspirations and by assisting them in setting SMART goals and supporting them throughout to achieve and sustain those goals.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Firstly, the dreams should be realistic and achievable. Secondly, there isn't really a big secret about it. Persistent training, healthy and age-relevant nutritional habits, sufficient sleep, and a disciplined mindset will cut it perfectly.
What do you love most about your job?
I am delighted to see clients' progress and their happiness about their results, and how they grow to love training and being healthy. It does feel as if I am making a difference. Training people also motivates me to remain active and inspirational, to "walk the talk".
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have landed in the PT world from a totally different business field - I have worked as an Interpreter & Translator for over 20 years. What made me consider this career change at this relatively later phase of life are the sedentary lifestyle that comes with hours-long sitting in a courtroom, police station, law firm etc. and the missing opportunity to really make a difference in people's lives. I was also quite ill with severe sciatica in 2019 and it was a real eye-opening experience: the shocking pain made me realise the importance of being active and healthy. So, I started working out and not only the sciatica has left me, but I noticed an amazing body transformation, which I had never thought would be possible! Seeing my result, my neighbour asked me to train her (she was postnatal at the time) and she's been my happy client ever since. All the above have inspired me to study to complete the Level 3 Personal Trainer course of NASM Premier Global (a worldwide-renowned company that teaches trainers) and a Level 4 course for Senior Training last year as well as a Yoga Instructor course in the same year.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am not a fitness model or an athlete. I am a happy, healthy and active woman in my 50s. I have gone through pregnancy x4, stress, trauma, accidents, injuries, obesity, being sedentary, illness (see above) and menopause. Thus, I can highly relate to and empathise with your struggles if you have experienced any of these or other things that might have hindered you from being fit and healthy. My strengths, I feel, are being empathetic yet persistent, kind but also, a bit (lovingly) strict to hold you accountable, and contagiously happy and upbeat to make the process enjoyable!

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I did not have to "make changes" as I started this business just after 2020. All the equipment provided during the session is wiped down with disinfectant prior to and after the session. I also provide hand sanitiser to use it whenever you feel the need for it.
I would not advise you to train in a mask but will ask you to carry out an LFT and I will do the same prior to the first session or if you are going to restart training after a recent infection.
