Mike was a pleasure to work with. He gave us lots of time in considering the important features in our garden and gave guidance to optimise the design.
We were able to modify this several times until we reached a design that met our needs and budget.
He was efficient and project managed everything, having employed contractors to do the hard landscaping. The service included the planting plans, which allowed us to visualise the garden and will be really useful in looking after the garden going forward. He also has a clear and transparent quoting process. We would highly recommend him.

Mike is v. easy to work with. He listens/questions yr own thoughts and objectives and responds promptly with design ideas. He is very flexible to amendments being made as design ideas develop and sticks to his design brief costings. He developed detailed project implementation costings/timeframe and coloured planting plans. He himself physically implemented the project from start to finish on time and within budget. He is very enthusiastic and clearly knowledgeable on plants/ design projects and is very "down to earth" We would have no hesitation in recommending him. More...

Asked Mike to look at garden we inherited when we bought property at end of 2020. He produced drawings, planting plans and full costings to show what could be done. Subsequently we asked Mike to take forward for us and are delighted with the results. Such a difference! No hesitation in recommending. More...
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people to design and create lovely gardens to spend time in and enjoy with their family and friends.
I am passionate about designing gardens and all types of planting and love working in that environment.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had a small garden maintenance business 35 years ago, but then decided to go to college and further my education and understanding of garden design and maintenance. After college I worked in the landscape industry, over time becoming MD of a medium sized company with 25 staff designing and carrying out large landscape contracts for private clients, local authorities and construction companies. Then after 30 years I decided I needed a change and thinking back to my small garden maintenance business prompted me to start my own small garden design company which I did and have continued to enjoy helping people develop and create lovely gardens.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am an established landscape garden designer and consultant with many years varied experience in all aspects of landscape and garden design. I have worked throughout my career within that environment and qualified with a Diploma in Landscape Studies, Design and Construction and an Advanced National Certificate in Horticulture.
