Working with Marie-Clare was a dream. She completely understood from the get-go what we were after and was flexible and supportive throughout.

On the day of our event, her and her team were extremely professional in the set-up l, delivery and clean up of the event. The food was absolutely delicious and it allowed us to mingle with our guests with absolutely no interruptions as her and her team fully had it on hand.

Marie-Clare and her team catered a birthday party (approx 50 ppl), held at my house. The planning and communication pre-party were exemplary and Marie-Clare was very helpful in suggesting what was needed to make catering the event run smoothly (people flow, where to put things, drinks quantities to order etc). We used Marie-Clare Cooks for the first time on Saturday night. Throughout the process before the party Marie-Clare was a joy to deal with - we had a few telephone calls and I found her to be knowledgeable, professional and amenable. All were good suggestions and the vegan selection was excellent too. The food was spectacular and everyone really enjoyed it and many commented on how delicious it was. All three of the team worked so very hard to make our party a success. Particular thanks to Sam for doing a sterling job hunting people down in both the garden and the house to make sure everyone was properly fed even during the rain. Marie-Clare and her team did a great, professional join at our engagement party. Food and service both excellent.

While visiting the UK from Australia, I wanted to host a party for 26 guests with family and friends and needed a caterer’s help. Marie-Clare was brilliant. She took care to understand what I wanted and created a menu to suit my guests and my own likes and dietary needs. On the day, she and her two staff were professional and super-efficient. The canapes went down a treat and the buffet dinner was delicious home cooking that all my guests enjoyed. Marie-Clare and her team looked after everyone attentively though unobtrusively. At the end of the evening, when they wrapped up to go, the kitchen was so tidy, it was hard to imagine they had even been there.

Marie-Claire catered for our summer party for 50.
Communication and planning beforehand was great - she was super helpful and patient.
On the day she and her team of helpers did a brilliant job allowing us to relax and enjoy our party. The food was excellent and many guests remarked how good it was.
With the party in full swing they then all quietly packed up cleaned up and slipped out.

Marie-Clare was great to work with from the start, listening to my requests and responding with options leading to exactly what we required. She took care of liaising with the venue, setting up, service and clearing up which was a huge weight off, particularly as it was a memorial service and an emotional time.
The food was delicious and plentiful and her team were great. Marie-Clare made the whole experience feel very personal, she genuinely cares about the service provided and was very kind particularly in response to the nature of the event.

She is delightful, professional, reassuring and delivered as she had promised. She initially visited us at home to review the possibilities, what would be needed, and on the day she texted me to reassure me "do not lift a finger". Just lovely to have her and her team cater for a vey special occasion - my Mother's funeral gathering for the immediate family members only. We needed caterers at short notice and Marie-Clare came to our rescue. Our initial email correspondence was very professional and supportive of our needs. We were given an excellent range menu choices and welcomed Marie-Clare's guidance on what would work well together for our event. Marie-Clare personally visited the venue at short notice and was exceptionally skilled in sorting out the ideal positions for the food and beverage stations. When she returned with her team on the day of the event she organised everything so the hospitality worked like clockwork. The most amazing thing, however, was the quality of the food; every guest, without exception, said it was the best they had ever tasted.
