The desire for creative freedom and the ability to build something meaningful on my own terms. I wanted to shape my work around my values—clarity, purpose, and thoughtful design—while collaborating with clients who share that vision. After years of working for a global architectural practice, I saw an opportunity to create a studio that blends strategy with creativity in a more personal, agile way. The challenge excited me, and the idea of growing something from scratch felt empowering. I was driven by a belief that great design can truly improve everyday experiences.

I’m a graphic and exhibition designer by training, with nearly 35 years of experience working with architects, interior designers, and urban planners.

My skills are a combination of wayfinding, sign design and graphic design. I bring an understanding of space and environmental dynamics to a project as well as sign-making techniques and engineering, which I learned while working for an exhibition designer in my early years.

In my experience, clients understand graphics and signs, but many are less certain about what wayfinding is. Working out how people move in, out and around an environment, and then formalising the findings into a scheme that defines all the elements required is an important aspect of what I do.

And of course, these elements aren’t just signs, they may include other graphics as well as lighting, interior design, urban design and the architecture itself.

I provide my services online and remotely by using digital tools that make collaboration seamless, no matter where my clients are located. Through video calls, screen sharing, and cloud-based platforms like Google Workspace, I can manage every stage of a project—from discovery and strategy to design and delivery. I share progress through interactive presentations, offer real-time feedback sessions, and deliver final assets in accessible digital formats. Whether it’s wayfinding, communication design, or sign design, I ensure a smooth, transparent process that’s just as effective as in-person collaboration—flexible, responsive, and tailored to each client’s needs and location.

To keep my customers safe from COVID-19, I’ve shifted all services to be fully remote and contact-free. Meetings, consultations, and presentations are conducted via video calls and collaborative online platforms. I use secure digital tools for file sharing, feedback, and approvals, eliminating the need for in-person interactions. For any physical signage or wayfinding systems, I coordinate directly with suppliers and installers to ensure safe, hygienic handling and installation, following current health guidelines. By embracing flexible, remote workflows, I’ve created a safe, efficient process that protects everyone’s wellbeing without compromising on the quality or creativity of the work.
