I worked with Rebecca in 2021 to remodel my bathroom, entry way, back garden patio, mezzanine loft area, bedroom and built in wardrobe, put in new floors and build a new laundry room. It was a lot. She did design work, sourced contractors, project managed everything, sourced materials and made suggestions, as well as provided discounts on items with her relationships. Not only was the end result beautiful and high quality, but it was a joy working with her. She was incredibly responsive and helped with an incredibly stressful situation. For anyone doing renovation work, you know how messy and challenging this can be. Add to this being a first time home owner, a global pandemic, living alone not in your home country, and working full time in a demanding job. Rebecca designed bespoke furniture for our kids bedroom including a bunk bed with a wardrobe. Rebecca listened to our needs and took time to understand how we live in the space, which resulted in a beautiful furniture, which not only looks great, but is also very functional and maximises the space. I employed Make My House Home for my Office in Farringdon - We needed a Kitchen installed / a wall taken down/meeting room created/a mini kitchen down stairs/ a shower room and some TLC on our dingy bathrooms.
It was a big job with a tight turn around before Christmas - In a matter of weeks we had worked together on the design, Rebecca had thought though our branding and incorporated our internal look into a modern look that flowed through the office. She has an amazing eye for look and feel of spaces.
The team stuck to time working weekends and late in to the night to get everything done for me.

We were looking for someone to have full reign in decorating our newly bought house due to the arrival of our baby. Rebecca really took our ideas on board and came up with an incredible mood board that perfectly fit our taste!
She has a reliable decorating team along with trustworthy suppliers and has good links with carpenters and furnishing companies.
Communication and updates were consistent and everything was carried out in a timely manner.
What we really liked were the personal touches she added just from getting to know us a bit more, eg, an olive tree as a nod to our Greek background.

Which interior design styles can you cater for?
We can cater for any design style - it is the clients home, we just want to help them make ideas a reality. Our style is contemporary, with unique touches and finishes. We are big on the use of different types of materials, textures and colours and focus on good quality.
What do you love most about your job?
We love being able to help people and brings ideas to life. Great interior design makes you feel happy when you walk into a room, our mission to make our clients feel that magic when they walk into a room and really make a house feel like a home.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to create my own business to help others, I have plenty of friends that find it extremely difficult to visualise a space or that don't even know where to start when decorating. A friend of mine was finding it frustrating and hard to choose furniture or a colour scheme for her first flat - I helped her to find just what she needed (even though she felt like she didn't know what that was ) and she turned to me and said you should do this for a living! I have always been hard working and come from a family that has always had its own business' - so I guess it has always been in my blood!
Why should our clients choose you?
Make My House Home is a small company that offers a personalised service, we wont make you choose a scheme that you feel uncomfortable with and will listen to your ideas - no matter what they are and will help you make them work. We are focused on creating interiors that are special to the client. When sourcing furniture and materials we like to be as sustainable as possible and work with small independent companies that are keeping the interiors world interesting with new ideas and techniques.
Stage 2: Design By Room: Sourcing & Procurement £825 ex VAT
In addition to Stage 1, this is for those looking to take all the design and sourcing work off your hands. You live a busy life and need someone to do the work for you.
I will visit your home again with all your sample choices so you can see what they look like in the room and make confident choices.
I will then present you with 2-3 choices per design element, saving you precious time. Giving you an element of choice, but eliminating the overwhelm of the entire internet.
You will have your unique digital dashboard in our online client portal, where you can review and approve all elements in your own time.
£1,000 inc VAT
I will then purchase and track all the elements of your design, saving you the stress and time of co-ordinating couriers. You will then be given access to my extensive trade discounts.
My fee for procurement is 10% of the Cost of Goods. For instance, if I secure a 20% discount on a product for your project, I will pass this saving to you but charge 10% of the original product cost to cover procurement and coordination. This ensures transparent pricing and seamless service.
Time frame 2-3 weeks
Home Renovation Service: Multiple Rooms
This is for a full home renovation service of multiple rooms.

Stage 1: Design By Room: Concept £650 ex VAT
I will visit your home to really understand you, what makes your heart sing and what you want from your home, so you can be confident, I’m bought into your vision.
I will take all the measurements using a laser, so you don’t have to.
I will create a bespoke design concept that reflects you, no-one else.
I will create a scaled floor plan and photorealistic renders, so you can picture exactly what the concept will look like in your home.
This is the first step in setting out your authentic style. It gives you a clear vision of the look and feel of your home for you to source the furnishings and fittings in your own time and manage the renovation process.
Stage 3: Design by Room: Project Management £4,150 ex VAT
Full Project Management: This is for those people undertaking a large renovation project and want to be hands off. You could be out of the country and may be renovating a large space like a kitchen or open plan living area.
This is in addition to stages 1 & 2
You will have access to my recommended tradespeople and contractors.
I will review proposals you have from prospective contractors and give you my advise on how to get the best possible deal and highlight any red flags.
I will meet with you and your contractors on site 4 times throughout the project.
To kick the project off, going through all plans in detail and iron out any foreseen problems.
Post demolition to run through FF&E layouts and exact points for first fix.
To run through decorative choices ensuing that no mistakes are made.
Post completion inspection
We will have weekly online meetings to discuss all aspects of the project.
I will be on hand for your contractors to contact me directly on the telephone and through a dedicated project Whatsapp group.
post contractor completion:
I will manage the snagging process for you to ensure your project is finished to meet your standards and advise you how to handle final payments to the contractors.
I will co-ordinate and oversee the unpacking and Installation of all furniture and accessories.
I will ensure that all rubbish is removed and have your home professionally cleaned
To finish the project off completely, your space will be styled so that it is ready to start living in and making memories.
£5,000 inc VAT
Time frame 8-12 week build.
