Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
At Renew My Space we supply all the cleaning products needed for the job, using effective and high-quality solutions to ensure your home is spotless. However, we do not provide equipment due to the risk of cross-contamination between homes. We ask that you have the necessary cleaning tools available for us to use, and we'll bring everything else to make your space shine.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about my job is the opportunity to build lasting relationships with my clients and have them become a part of the Renew My Space family. Spending time in their homes and getting to know them makes the work so rewarding. The greatest satisfaction comes when clients tell me that our cleaning has not only improved the look of their home but also positively impacted their mental well-being. Knowing that we contribute to making their space a place of comfort and peace is what truly drives me every day.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The inspiration behind Renew My Space came from a desire to make a real difference in people's lives by helping them create cleaner, more peaceful environments. I’ve always believed in the power of a tidy, well-maintained space to improve both physical and mental well-being. After spending time in many homes and seeing the positive impact a clean, organized space can have on someone’s life, I knew I wanted to help others experience that feeling.
The journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic when an elderly lady was struggling to keep her home clean due to the lack of visitation and support at the time. I offered my assistance, and after seeing the difference it made, she recommended me to her friends. Word of mouth spread, and soon others reached out for help as well. One simple act of kindness led to many, and five years later, I had built a loyal clientele and the foundation for a thriving business. That one small act changed my life, and it continues to inspire the work I do today.
