What inspired you to start your own business?
Kunashe Care Ltd was founded by a couple who have over 7 years of experience working in the healthcare field. We have BA Hons in Social work and BSc in Mental Health nursing. Our shared professional experiences have enabled us to gain the necessary knowledge and skills in the healthcare field. We are committed to providing person centred care to clients and help them stay in their homes for as long as possible, preventing hospital admissions and placements. All visits will be done face to face. We offer a free initial consultation to assess your needs.
Live in care
We offer 24 hrs support to meet all aspects of daily living such as:
• help with washing, bathing and showering
• providing skin care
• providing hair care and shaving
• care of fingernails
• care of toenails and feet
• oral hygiene and care of teeth, including tooth brushing and care of dentures
• helping people to dress
• helping people to eat and drink
• aiding the management of continence — including going to the toilet, stoma care, catheter care, bed changing, etc.
• help with mobility or transferring, such as from bed to chair
Visiting care
We offer daily visits to meet your care. Hourly and times will be tailored to meet your unique needs.
Medication
We support with collecting, storing and administration medication. We will discuss the level of support needed during our free face to face consultation
Personal care
We can support with all personal care needs whilst with respect and dignity
Respite care
We can provide respite care to offer breaks to carers or family members
Companionship
We can support with companionship which involves providing emotional and social support to individuals. This includes activities like conversation, reading, playing games, and going on outings to reduce loneliness and enhance well-being.
Reablement support
At Kunashe care we support focusing on helping individuals regain independence and confidence after an illness, injury, or period of decreased mobility. This involves setting goals and providing short-term, intensive support to relearn skills and build strength, enabling people to live more independently.
Cleaning
We offer comprehensive cleaning services, including deep cleans, as well as weekly or fortnightly cleaning schedules, to enable you to maintain a consistently clean and comfortable environment. Our services are designed to fit your specific needs, ensuring a spotless and stress-free home or office.
