The most rewarding aspect of working in domiciliary care is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives every day. Building personal connections with clients and seeing the positive impact that compassionate care has on their well-being is incredibly fulfilling. Whether it's helping someone regain independence, providing comfort during difficult times, or simply bringing a smile to their face, knowing that I can contribute to their quality of life is what I love most about my job. What inspired you to start your own business?
The inspiration to start my own domiciliary care business came from a deep passion for helping others and a desire to make a real difference in the lives of those who need support. After working in the care industry for several years, I saw first hand the profound impact that quality care can have on individuals and their families. However, I also noticed gaps in the level of personalized attention and flexibility that larger organisations sometimes couldn't provide.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Keeping our clients safe during the COVID-19 pandemic has been our top priority. We have implemented several key measures to ensure the highest level of protection:
Enhanced Infection Control Protocols:
All caregivers undergo rigorous training in infection prevention and control, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and sanitization practices. We follow strict protocols to minimise any risk of transmission.
Regular Health Screenings:
Caregivers are required to complete daily health screenings before beginning their shifts. This includes temperature checks and monitoring for any symptoms of COVID-19. Any caregiver showing symptoms or who has been exposed to the virus is immediately removed from duty and required to self-isolate.
Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Our caregivers are provided with and required to wear appropriate PPE, including masks, gloves, and, when necessary. We also ensure that PPE is used correctly and replaced regularly to maintain effectiveness.
