Katrina was very helpful in supporting me to discuss some sexual difficulties. She was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and made me feel quickly at ease. Katrina helped me to explore my sexuality and the problems I was having in a sensitive, kind way. I feel better equipped going forward. More...

I had face to face sessions with Katrina for a couple of months and I can confidently say that working with her was a transformative experience. From the beginning, Katrina consistently provided a safe and non-judgemental space for me to explore my thoughts and emotions and offered me perspective that has helped me gain a deeper understanding of myself and provided me with tools and coping strategies that have made a tangible difference in my daily life. I would highly recommend Katrina to anyone seeking a compassionate and skilled therapist. She has truly helped me to transform my life and I am grateful for her support and guidance. Thank you, Katrina! More...

I got in touch with Katrina just a couple months ago and although we haven’t had many sessions she’s helped me a lot with anxiety, nightmares, difficulties on how to cope with day to day problems and also showed me a way to communicate my feelings and thoughts in a healthy and safe way. Things still get rough at times but Katrina has given me really helpful tools to deal with those bad times and encouraged me to be my true self and speak up. It’s been a very rewarding experience. I was experiencing bad anxiety which resulted in a nasty period of insomnia where I was getting only a couple of hours sleep a night for over a week. Katrina was a true professional and provided me with some really helpful coping methods. I found speaking to her very therapeutic. My problems went away after a few sessions and I feel better equipped to deal with anxiety in future if any symptoms come back. More...

I had 1:1 counselling sessions with Katrina for ten months this year, mainly face to face but at times – due to the lockdown restrictions - via Zoom. I initially sought to have counselling to help me find a way to be strong enough to support my son who will need heart surgery in the near future. My sessions with Katrina took me on a personal journey I hadn’t envisaged and I was able to talk openly for the first time about many of my feelings; joy, loss, love, pain, fear, pride, anxiety, bewilderment, forgiveness. Talking with Katrina helped me get to know the ‘real me’ and I feel very lucky to have found someone I felt so comfortable with. More...

Katrina seemed to unterstand what I have been through and what i need. I think we can work together

My partner and I had been together for many years and had a very happy relationship, when a potentially devastating financial “mistake” by my partner left me feeling very shocked, angry and let down by him and I could not see a way of rebuilding my trust.
Katrina helped us to really talk honestly with each other and supported us through that. Her consulting room felt like a safe place to say things I couldn’t say elsewhere. I got to say what I needed to say without it destroying us!
I really appreciated the way that Katrina did not side with either of us, and never blamed anyone, but stayed fully focused on ‘the relationship’ as her client. I also liked the methods she used.
We stayed together! It surprised many of our friends who really thought we wouldn’t make it through. We are now 5 years on and we have been closer than ever. Every now and then we reflect on that time and we are both so thankful that we found the right person to help us through that difficult time.
Katrina is a warm, safe, competent, brave, creative and gifted therapist. I have recommended many people to her since and will continue to do so.

What do you love most about your job?
Connecting with clients and witnessing them developing inner and outer resources to change their life for the better.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was very much helped by psychotherapy (and later with couples counselling) and I knew big turnarounds in life circumstances and attitudes are possible. I love that my work changes the way that we relate to ourselves, others and the rest of the world for the better.
Why should our clients choose you?
My experience, empathy, creativity and warm, accepting attitude, will enable you to relax and make good progress. I take into account all aspects of you and your relationships - emotional, physical, social and spiritual. I offer an introductory session of up to half an hour for free.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, I am seeing clients on Skype, FaceTime, Zoom, WhatsApp video call or phone. You can be in the comfort of your own home, office or car. I have specialist training in online and phone therapy and offered this even before the pandemic.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I can meet with clients on-line or in-person. When meeting clients in person, we will sit 2m apart in a well ventilated room.
Additionally
* I will open and close both the garden gate and therapy room door, so you do not have to touch their handles.
* The only reason to go inside the main house would be to use the toilet, which is just inside the front door. All surfaces are frequently sanitised and there are paper hand towels that you can use to dry your hands and drop into the paper recycling bin outside my front door.
* If any of us think we may have the symptoms of Covid-19 or may be infectious with it, we can move to online working, or pause our sessions.
