Q&As

What I love about being a therapist is facilitating a safe space for clients to embark on a journey of self discovery and growth.

I have specialized in the recovery from trauma and domestic abuse, helping individuals find healing, resilience and peace. Trauma can take many forms-whether from a single event, prolonged stress or deep seated emotional wounds-and it can affect every aspect of our lives. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding and safety, as I believe that creating a secure environment is the first step towards recovery.

I work with a wide range of issues such as trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, low self esteem, alcohol and drug misuse, regulating emotions, developing coping strategies and building reilience. Identifying unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving

Sessions can be done face to face in a beautiful, tranquil location, via Google Meets, Zoom or by telephone

I have a big room, which is well ventilated and cleaned down after each session

Using a range of approaches to help you develop coping strategies, improve your relationships and build a foundation for lasting change.

Using a collaborative approach to tailor to individual needs. Incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic therapy to look at how past experiences have shaped us and informed our perspective on ourselves and relationships and break any unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaving. I also use mindfulness practices and Somatic therapies to connect both mind and body so that we are able to explore repressed feelings and learn to regulate our emotions.
