Last year was a very rough one for me. I had two therapists already but from September till December my situation got much worse to the point I had extremely high anxiety ever single day, strong disassociation, numbness and frequent panic attacks that culminated around the start of December with me considering going on antidepressants or anxiety medication despite being reluctant about them, cause I didn't see a way out.
My mum then suggested to try hypnotherapy, considering I had a fair amount of childhood trauma and a lot of my past memories were still blocked.
That's when I contacted Karishma, during one of my panic attacks and the benefits of our first talk over the phone were already noticeable. She managed to reassure me instantly and we had our first real session immediately the day after.
Hypnotherapy is very different from what I expected. I had a very "movie" like expectation to be honest, but it's nothing like that.
I would describe it as guided meditations tailored for what you need to work on.
A lot of the work Karishma is doing with me is centered on my very scared and wounded inner child and how to regulate my emotions.
She records the meditations we do together during the sessions and she gives me "assignments" to do them every day, along with journaling and other excercises that are very practical and useful for my day-to-day struggles.
The tools she provided me so far made it possible for me to have days where I'm now anxiety free, or with occasional anxiety spikes I can mostly manage by myself.
Not only this, but now I finally have moments of extreme clarity and connection with myself and the world around me. It will still take time, but it's such a big improvement considering I've been disconnected from myself for a decade.
Karishma is also always available through text or emails whenever I feel like I can't manage on my own, which gives me the reassurance that I have someone to reach out if I'm struggling too much.
The improvements I got through the work with Karishma are much more significant than the improvements I previously had after 2-3 years of just talk therapy, where one of the therapists I had (and now dropped) made me feel much more anxious than before the sessions. With Karishma, after our sessions I always feel grounded and relaxed, with a feeling that things are actually going better and improving and that I will actually be okay.

Working with Karishma over the past few months has been a transformative experience for me in terms of my mindset and emotional maturity.
When I began my sessions, I was in a very rough spot mentally and emotionally due to a recent relationship ending. However, working with Karishma allowed me to understand and navigate my way out of that headspace.
She is professional, a great listener, honest with you, and her methodology is transparent in what it aims to achieve in helping you as a client grow. It is also not about overcoming the challenge or problem you bring to her but also about being equipped to navigate future stresses and situations much better than when you first met her. Most importantly, you also have support for her outside of your sessions. This is important because, in my case, becoming more aware of certain emotions or realisations was challenging to navigate. However, knowing I could send a text or make a quick call gave me stability in those moments.
As a result, I am in a space where I have much more clarity about who I am and how I navigate my everyday stresses.
I highly recommend Karishma, and I assure you that you will have zero regrets about working with her.

I have received a great deal of benefit from seeing Karishma. I had difficulty in sleeping and high level of anxiety. I had no confidence I myself and was not able to be left alone at any time. I had only one session with her, she gave me a 10 minute visualisation in with my 1 hour session, I have been doing this visualisation every day after I saw her but now maybe twice a week.
