Relationship and Marriage Counselling
My partner and I were hesitant about couples therapy, but working with Julie has truly transformed our relationship. From the very first session, she created a safe, judgment free space where we both felt heard and understood.
Her compassionate yet direct approach helped us break through long standing communication barriers and gain a deeper understanding of each.
Thanks to her guidance, we feel more connected, respected, and secure in our relationship than ever before. If you’re looking for a therapist who genuinely cares and has the expertise to make a real difference, we cannot recommend Julie highly enough.

She is amazing. She creates a very good friendship with you. She makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. You feel as if you can tell her anything and everything. She has saved me the past couple of months. She’s helped me in so many ways so thankful for her! She is the best. Been through so many councillors but no one will compare. More...

Relationship and Marriage Counselling
I found Julie on Bark when I was struggling with home life, a stressful work life, and an even more difficult long term relationship. I'm so thankful for Julie's patience and the amount of work we did together. It took a lot of sessions for me to feel like I could be discharged from counselling, but I wouldn't have the wonderful life I have now, or the improved level respect for myself if it weren't for those sessions. Thank you for teaching me to trust myself again Julie ❤️ More...

Finding my time with Julie very helpful.
Julie is supportive, understanding and not judgemental, but also challenging of comments and feelings, in a positive way.

I’d had some bad experiences with ‘nodding dog’ counsellors but then thankfully I found Julie who has been able to help me with lots of personal issues by giving something back to me and challenging me where appropriate, which is exactly what I needed to make progress.
I’d recommend Julie for help with relationship problems and addiction issues, and also for anyone who has not had the results they wanted with other counsellors.
I’ve been able to go back to Julie in times of need which has been very helpful.
I couldn’t recommend Julie highly enough.

I have just finished a course of counselling with Julie, she is wonderful, i was at my darkest when i first met her and she has been a great support.
Her knowledge and style are unique, she puts you at ease and before you know it you are opening up, she is so easy to talk to.
I would recommend Julie to any of my friends or family,
Without her support over the last few months i dont know what i would have done to get through them.

Relationship and Marriage Counselling
My boyfriend and I decided to try therapy as we are facing difficult times regarding work and family. We wanted to understand each other and be a team instead of having arguments due to the stress we were facing and our individual past emotional baggage. I had therapy before but it was the first time for my boyfriend, Julie manage to make this experience so easy on us that the thought of going to our session gave us peace of mind, as when having arguments or misunderstandings during the week we knew that it was going to be understood and hopefully solved in our session with her. She creates an environment in where we felt safe to be vulnerable with each other without the fear of being judge. We would recommend her to anyone seeking therapy as she really made a difference in our lifes, we are so glad we took the step and gone through this as it was scary at first but since the first session we realised it was one of the best decisions we have made. Thank you Julie! More...

I worked with Julie during a challenging family experience. She is very dedicated, listens well and is very understanding of all viewpoints. Julie’s techniques helped me to dig deep to better understand the past with the present and the emotional ‘blocks’ I had internalised over the years. I learnt to be at ease with my emotions and comfortable setting boundaries when appropriate. If you need help to overcome a difficult time, I highly recommend Julie as a therapist. More...

I have known and worked with Julie for over 5 years. Julie has encouraged me to work on myself over the years and I feel I am a more clear headed and stronger person from our sessions. Julie really cares about her clients. She always remembers the smallest things which mean a lot when you are going through extensive therapy. She listens and guides you to open up your feelings and allows you to question yourself. I would recommend Julie's services to anyone who feels they need therapy, counselling or just someone to talk to. I will continue to work with Julie over the coming years I am sure. More...

I have been working with Julie for several years and really value my sessions with her. I first went to her for bereavement therapy following the loss of my husband. She has a direct no nonsense approach but is also kind and compassionate and very understanding. She has helped me be able to think for myself and to have more confidence and self esteem. Several years on I am still working with Julie, albeit much less frequently than before, because I value the sessions and discussions we have. I cannot recommend her highly enough. More...

I have known julie from the age of 18. She has always been there for me as a great therapist. I was so happy to work with julie as I was looking for somebody who would be able to challenge me so I would be able to learn about myself on a much deeper level. She is no nodding dog and I favour her honest approach. Julie has taught me some very valuable ways of thinking about situations, I have been able to improve my self esteem and put boundaries in place with myself and others around me. I am so grateful for the work we have been able to do together. I fully reccomend Julie as a therapist. More...
