It was so lovely working with Josie. Weeks prior to the wedding day she asked us for a list of the photos we really wanted to be taken on the day and then if there were any others we wanted taken during the day. Josie did a very job taking my son and son-in-laws wedding photos. The weather was far from perfect, the light seemed to change all day, but the outside photos turned out lovely. The indoor photos were amazing
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Getting a couple to relax in front of the camera to take candid images that show personality and love.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I would ask the couple about how they met, how long they’d been together and what is most important to them about their special day. I want to make the photos person centred and capture the important moments.
For one couple, it could be a poorly relative who they would like to create memories with or a child that they would like their day to be centred around.
I want to know what helps to relax the couple to see if I can use humour or adventure to get them to show their true personalities and truly special moments to be captured.
What do you love most about your job?
I love getting to celebrate a couples journey and their special day. I love getting to meet different people and explore different areas.
I love to get creative and adventurous with photos from flares to champagne sprays to climbing on a bench to get the best shot.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started photography during Covid times where I was working in hospitals and needed a source of creativity to get through the isolation. I started doing landscape photography and it quickly developed into family events and then getting into weddings.

Your clients should choose me if they want someone who is going to have a person centred approach to creating unique photos that show a couples own journey.
You should also choose me if you want more adventurous shots like flares, champagne sprays, sparklers etc.. I am also someone who is going to go the extra mile to get the best photo.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am a trained healthcare professional so I am good with hand hygiene. I am happy to wear masks/gloves if ever needed and am happy to take any extra protocols to ensure safety is paramount!
