John was very easy to deal with and always contactable, nothing was too much trouble. We booked him for a girly week away (6 of us) in Richmond for our 60th birthdays. He was happy for us to chose our own menu which was great. He arrived on time on the day of our dinner party, he brought all his own crockery, pans etc and said he would set the table etc. The amazing food was served by John and he washed up all the pots etc leaving us with nothing to do but enjoy the food. I would very much recommend John he is very professional but had a laid back approach with our dining as it was a more laid back event between life long friends. We were away for the weekend as a family and John came to cook for us on the Saturday night.
I can honestly say that John is a true professional.
The planning
John is easy to do business with, providing a flexible service that enabled us to develop the menu for the 14 of us, without any problems, whatsoever.
The Meal
John arrived on time and served the first course at 19:30 as planned.
All three courses were delicious, the chicken in a red wine jue and the sticky toffee pudding were both delightful.
The kitchen was left clean and tidy, you would not know that it had been used.
Asking the family what was the best part of the (eventful) weekend, "The Meal", "The Chef", "The Meal" it went down very well.
I would not hesitate in recommending John.

Dinner party for 4 people
What an amazing evening. Booked as a birthday present. John carefully planned the menu before the night, sourced all products (which were of a high quality and locally sourced),
His professionalism throughout the night was first class. The food was sublime. We are going to post pictures on his Facebook page on the visitor comments.
His subject knowledge was brilliant and I learnt so much tonight listening to him.

Wow an amazing experiance that I highly recommend.
Communication from the start to finish was fantastic. Jon planned and made the menu we requested.
He planned, prepped and produced a top quality restaurant meal in the comfort of our own home. We had jon attend our 60th birthday party at a holiday cottage in Peak District for a family of 9, aged 2 -60. Jon was very knowledgeable, passionate and talented chef who catered for all.
He is friendly and professional and would highly recommend him as an addition to any dinner party.
