Joe has made two separate visits to our team at Cecil Amey.
The first visit was to initiate a relaunch of our hearing services across all branches after a particularly turbulent post Covid period.
Joe was well prepared and ensured he had spoken with myself prior to his visit to manage the expected outcomes of the sessions. The team of 80 were both nervous and curious but after less than five minutes Joe had them eating out of the palm of his hand using some great looseners and his own inimitable comedic style. The point was delivered gently but succinctly integrating the audiology team with optical team seamlessly and inspiring confidence to deliver great conversations with our clients.
We couldn't get enough, so sooner rather than later we had Joe back again for a fine tuning session with our hearing care assistants in the morning, then two of our audiologists in the afternoon (one new graduate, one very experienced team member). This was about fine tuning of delivery to encourage conversion from ear health checks and screeners into full consultations then how to effectively offer choice of hearing aids and looking at how we deliver technology and style for best results. I have no doubt that his contribution has helped towards tripling the turnover of our business in the last 12 months.
Low and behold...happy clients, busier clinics, better upsell, happy owners.
I can thoroughly recommend Joe for his delivery, care and personality making everyone feel like the most important person in the room and his ability to gain trust and subsequent buy in.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked in a variety of leadership roles for over 25 years across the world. In this time I have delivered countless presentations and training sessions. Throughout, the two things that maximise the learning most are: fun and participation. Both lead to higher levels of engagement. This in turn, leads to an increased likelihood of the training being implemented. On a side note, it also means that every day I get to go to work with a huge smile on my face.
