Support for Adult and Older Adult
Our fully screened, DBS checked home-helpers are always on hand with a friendly smile, so you can be confident that you can continue to manage day-to-day tasks, whilst still maintaining your dignity and independence.

Live-in care provides full-time one-to-one support to both individuals and couples, ensuring that you or your loved one can remain as independent as possible and avoid the need for a care/nursing home placement. Our live-in service is tailored to each person’s needs and aspirations no matter their level of dependency.

Being on your own or feeling unable to cope, especially, during the current crisis can cause unnecessary anxiety for vulnerable people and their relatives. A Live-in-Carer provides you with the comfort of having help when you need it – at any time of the night. You can choose how many nights per week you require this service, allowing you and your relatives to enjoy a relaxing nights’ sleep, safe in the knowledge that you will be always cared for.

Your carer will be present throughout the night, boosting your confidence and providing you with a fast response as and when you need it.

Community care groups like Family Carers UK have considerable experience in caring for people who are at high risk; vulnerable; isolated are protected, cared for without being isolated, stigmatised or left in a position of increased vulnerability or unable to access basic provisions and social care.

This “temporary service” is provided to families in need of on-call, occasional help.

Although, advanced notice is appreciated, we can place a screened, experienced Helper in your home, with only a few hours’ notice. Temporary job requests may be for one day (2 hours minimum) to several weeks or months.

We are always on hand to help you with your domestic, personal, and family requirements. We can provide child, elder and domestic support. Our services include part- and full-time nannies, after school support, support to families or individual with illness. Date night/weekend sitters, hotel childcare, postpartum doulas, housekeepers, help with hoarding and decluttering, shopping, small maintenance around the household, dog walking, providing transport for appointments or any other domestic and or family needs, and companions for the elderly or somebody with illness that needs somebody to help do things or run around support.

All Helpers providing temporary and on-call services have passed our rigorous screening, which includes interviews, reference checks and background checks: all have professional childcare experience.

Family Carers offers a specialist re-ablement service. A range of services to adults with different support needs are provided, to enable NHS hospital beds to be available for acute patients by providing 24-hour live-in care to many elderly and vulnerable people in their own homes.
The aim being to minimise your stay in hospital, Re-ablement provides a time-limited, outcome focused intervention.
