What’s your interior design process?
1) No-obligation call
We always start with a no-obligation call or virtual meeting to discuss the client's project. It’s a great opportunity for both parties to assess if the project is a good fit and will give us all the necessary information to prepare a comprehensive project scope and a detailed breakdown of expected costs.
2) Brief
Next step is working on the brief. During the briefing stage, our focus is on understanding the client’s goals while also exploring their personal style, lifestyle, and aspirations. This phase is critical to ensuring all stylistic and functional requirements are met.
To build a clear picture of the project, we conduct an initial site visit and survey. This step helps us ensure we consider all factors, including the timescale, budget, and any administrative requirements.
3) Floorplans
Whether we work from existing plans or design a new interior architecture, we ensure your home features the most optimal layouts. Every detail is carefully considered, to create layouts with a purpose and flow, where natural light is enhanced and where maximum value can be added to the property.
4) Conceptual Design
Inspired by the client’s personal style, we create mood boards for colour schemes, window treatments, furniture, accessories and art. This process is strictly linked with the design of the room layout, where furniture, lighting and fixtures all get their place. Understanding exactly how the client wishes to use the space informs all of our design decisions.
5) Development design
Once all the concept designs are approved, we take care of all the FF&E (furniture, fixtures and equipment), including precise finishes for joinery, wall coverings, window treatments and soft furnishings.
6) Installation & Project Management
We are responsible for providing detailed and complete specifications for the supplies and services required, and for overseeing and monitoring the work up to completion in order to ensure the highest quality. We are rigorous in our approach to the final stages of any project. By supervising the installation of every single item, we turn what can be a difficult and stressful time into a stress-free experience for our clients.
