What do you love most about your job?
My role as a counsellor is to create change and growth, so the person experiencing distress can move away from negative patterns of behaviour. Everyone strives to be the best they can be and reach their full potential to self actualisation. It is a privilege to be part of someones journey and see the changes from the start of the counselling sessions to the very end... This gives me a great purpose to help those that are willing to explore the past and present to live a more fulfilling life in the future, by letting go of the hurt and painful experiences that keep us stuck...
What inspired you to start your own business?
Counselling is a process in the right environment, with empathy, congruence and unconditional positive regard, it is possible to feel listened to and understood with non judgement...
