What do you love most about your job?
I love the variety each day brings, working with business owners to take the HR headache away allowing them to focus on delivering the business
What inspired you to start your own business?
I set the consultancy up when my daughter was a baby. Prior to that I had a corporate job. I aimed to do it for 4 years until she went to school ... but here we are 18 years later and I am still loving it!

Yes, my clients are all over the UK. The majority can be done remotely, but if you feel you need more hands-on support, I can be there in person too.

not applicable ... although we can wear masks on teams if you'd like :-)
Contracts of Employment
I don't believe one size of contract fits all businesses! I work with you to understand the requirements of the contract & what areas you particularly need protections in. It could be that as a consequence of producing a new contract, there is a need to consult with employees. I help with all that. I design contracts for the varying roles in business, protecting you and ensuring they are in line with legislation and best practice
Employee Handbooks
working with you to ensure you have a welcoming, factual handbook that reflects the culture of the business but ensuring it has every policy you need and in line with legislation and best practice. Written so your employees understand it. I include any bespoke policies that you may require. I give process for roll out too
Policy Development/Review
Developing policies that are unique to your business or the sector you work in, for example you may need a working with vulnerable people policy or CCTV footage policy, that are not included in your handbook. I also review current policies to ensure they reflect legislation and update where necessary
HR Support
I offer an advice helpline. My clients love this. It gives them peace of mind and they feel like they have a HR professional without the overhead of employing someone. I follow up all advice in an e-mail so its not lost in translation and provide any letters or comms in relation to that advice. it's a 12 month contract with no long term tie-ins. Price dependent on headcount.
Ad Hoc HR/Project work
I also provide ad hoc HR support. If you would like assistance with just one matter, I am happy to help. Equally you may have a project that you need assistance with, for example a redundancy programme or TUPE transfer. I can provide a fixed price for this, allowing you to budget effectively
HR system
I offer a great HR system designed for SME's ... it does absolutely everything you need to help manage your employees from the obvious like annual leave to the not so obvious like timesheets and project time management. Its a really cost effective affordable solution for any size of business!
