We would highly recommended Here We Go Party DJ - Paul - to anyone after he played for us at our party and really knocked it out of the park. Clear communication at all times and played an excellent range of music which he was happy to take requests and arrange ahead of time for special songs you want to hear. Brilliant setup - super professional looking and able to do a great light show to match the music playing. Paul put on a great disco for the kids of Aitkenbar primary for their Halloween disco. Great music and fun games. ‘I liked it cause it wasn’t too loud and I didn’t have to leave the hall all the time’ ‘The limbo game was soo much fun. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
I like to get a few songs that friends and family who are attending an event like to dance to and one or two songs they would like me to avoid to give me a sense of where the music might go on the night. On the night itself, observing what people are enjoying on the dancefloor and listening to guests requests and even speaking to people not dancing helps me keep everyone enjoying the evening and creating a memorable event.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My style really depends on the event and people attending; however, I like to play songs that people will dance to and equally sing along to be it cheesy party, old school dance, pop-punk, 90s classics, club and techno bangers, 60s, 70s, country and of course, Taylor Swift!
What do you love most about your job?
I love most seeing people having a great night, singing and dancing along to the music I am playing and the reaction to a forgotten song or remix.
