I needed a replacement gas central heating boiler. The whole process from initial estimating to installation complete was very easy. I was impartially advised on a suitable replacement for my existing boiler and there was no high pressure salesmanship. The boiler was fitted in one day and up and running by 3:00pm. My old boiler, 30+ years old, was going to cost £700 to repair, with no guarantee that something else might not fail. So a new combi boiler was a no brainer. Dean's estimate was slightly cheaper than elsewhere, so Luke appeared bright and early on Monday and dismantled old boiler, immersion heater and water tanks in the loft. On Tuesday the new boiler was installed, along with thermostatic valves. Wednesday saw the rads vented and on Thursday morning Luke went to some trouble to source matching bricks for the hole where the old boiler used to be, and meticulously checked the rads and the boiler performance. The company we chose was Heatworks plumbing and heating and it was a bit of a gamble whether the choice was right. Excellent service. I had a new boiler installed in my Mother's home. Not only was it a replacement for the old one that chose to pack it in on the cusp of winter, but a completely modern upgrade. The engineers, Paul & Rich, were both efficient, friendly, absolutely thorough and professional.
