I'd say Heather isn't just a good photographer, but a kind and patient person, these make her service stand out. Recently, I needed to get some photos done for my mum who had been through recovery. It was to be a photo of her, the kids and gran kids. We didn't want her to move around too much so it had to be around her home. Other photographers wanted us to come to their studio or location which was a no-no for our situation. We were also coming from different parts of the country so quite a bit of coordination involved. Spoke to Heather and it was very obvious how attentive to detail she was, she scouted the location around my mum's home that would work well for the photoshoots, she was very quick to respond to all my questions, offering very useful suggestions. On the day, she was very friendly, made everyone laugh and the photoshoot was a breeze, the quality of the photos were top notch. Remember I mentioned we were in different parts of the country, Heather gave us an online gallery where we could all see the photos so we could all choose which ones we liked for the final selection. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
NATURAL MOMENTS AND NATURE. I’m a big fan of the outdoors and any couple that manages to put faith in the British weather to have an outdoor wedding! Finding the perfect leafy spot for newlywed portraits is my biggest priority on your wedding day. The photos will be relaxed and beautifully natural with our glorious countryside as the backdrop.
My style is natural and unobtrusive and I love getting to capture the artwork that is your wedding day & those moments that will be so loved by you and your families for years to come. I’m always looking for authentic stories with real feelings to tell; even better if those moments are surrounded by natural beauty in the environment.

What do you love most about your job?
I love telling the narrative of who you are, both individually and together, what brought you together, all the details of your wedding day itself and the anticipation of all the beautiful moments yet to come.
On the day - I love getting to capture all of the good stuff. Giggles and champagne with your girls in your dressing gowns. That moment when Mum is buttoning up your dress. When Dad sees you in your dress for the first time and you get that emotion filled cuddle.
The moment where you two first see each other and the excitement and joy that is evident on your faces. That same joy reflected in your loved ones watching on and ready to celebrate along with you.
I believe weddings are a creative manifestation of who you are as a couple and that’s why I love what I do.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A Documentary Photography graduate from the University of Wales, Newport; I realised that I loved sharing people's stories and photographing the beauty in the everyday. When I photographed my first wedding I was blown away by getting to share in the couple's special day. Each wedding day is a work of art that I get to document!

Why should our clients choose you?
With a background in Documentary, I focus on capturing those little details and secret moments that sum you up as a couple. I am a massive fan of using natural light where possible and I’ll definitely try to sneak you away to appreciate golden hour as newlyweds.
I’m based in South Wales with my videographer husband. The majority of my weddings are in Cardiff and Newport but I love to travel further afield having photographed weddings in Somerset, Gloucestershire, Bridgend, the Gower, Ceredigion, Powys, Herefordshire, Hertfordshire, Hampshire, London and Edinburgh. Definitely wouldn’t say no to a destination wedding either!
More than likely if you’re drawn to me it’s because you love the outdoors as much as me. Having an abundance of gorgeous leafy green on your wedding day is not just visually stunning but a lovely reflection of you both. Whether you’re avid hikers, stand-up-paddle boarders, coastal path walkers, happy campers, surfers or simply like to get out in your local park.
