I got in touch with Alex in Spring this year to help with getting the most of my urban garden. I have been looking after the garden myself for years but didn't really have the expertise to make the most of the space. Alex came and very quickly understood my likes and what i was looking for. She drew up a plan for me based on the budget that i had and sourced all the plants for me. The results were simply fabulous! The garden has never looked so good, she had some great idea for plants that i would never have thought of, and created such a celebration of colour and interest to the eye, it has brought me great pleasure. What do you love most about your job?
It is very satisfying helping clients to achieve a transformation in their garden and seeing their delight.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I moved house to Shepherds Bush. Suddenly I had quite a large garden so I decided to do a one year course in gardening to gain the knowledge to maintain my own garden. i got the bug and went on to study garden design and landscaping. Along the way I started to pick up clients and now I have a flourishing business.
Why should our clients choose you?
I can offer the whole package. I know about plants, planting and design and I work with a great team of hard landscapers and gardeners. We can transform your garden! But beware, I like to work with nature, so if you want someone to come and spray weedkiller everywhere...don't choose me!

Sure, I can provide design services remotely. But really you need to get the feel of a garden so I will need to come and visit at least once to see the space.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Luckily for me the outdoors is fairly safe. Of course, I will respect your safety if we need to come through the house to access your garden.

Autumn clear up
Hedge-trimming, pruning, clipping, mowing and mulching before the winter, Every garden needs an autumn sort out.
Spring bulb planting
Fill containers and beds with bulbs NOW, for that wow factor from early Spring crocuses to tulips in March and April and purple alliums with the round, starry heads, in May/June. Now is the time to plant them all. I can sell you the bulbs for you to plant or provide the whole package – bulbs and planting.
Tree planting
Perhaps you have been thinking for a long time about a bay tree or an olive tree in a container by your front door? Or maybe you’d like to plant a tree in your garden and don’t know where to start? I can provide advice and ideas as well as sourcing the trees.
Autumn is the time for tree planting. Today I have been to Provender Nurseries and seen their huge selection of beautiful trees including amalanchier, fruit trees, birch trees, acers and olive trees. Your garden deserves a beautiful tree!
