Scam do not use.
They agreed to payment after the cleaning then made me leave work to come and pay them in cash halfway through the ‘clean’
They left the flat in a much worse state than it was before, I have no idea what they were doing in there. But we never got a refund, after multiple phone calls and emails.

Let me start with the positives; the lady who cleaned my flat did a great job; it was cleaned to a very high standard. The issue with this company is communication. I clearly detailed my requirements in writing; the flat was dirty but had a new kitchen and bathroom so did not have any grease or limescale issues. I asked for all floors, walls, skirting to be cleaned along with all the kitchen cupboards inside and out. I also asked for all the windows to be cleaned inside and out (ground floor and accessible) and made it totally clear that they need to bring all the cleaning supplies and equipment. We agreed a date and time but somehow that was misunderstood and the cleaner arrived two days early when there was no one present to let her into the flat. When the cleaner arrived on the correct day; she had very limited cleaning supplies or equipment which I was not aware about until the clean had been completed. Somehow it seems she managed to clean the flat with what she found on site, (she was lucky there was a broom, mop and cleaning agents that I had left in the flat some years before) If there was no equipment or supplies on site then I am not sure what she would have done. When the cleaning had been finished she refused to clean the outside windows which was in my original task list – long story short, this was eventually completed after a heated disagreement and £20 extra over the original quote. I am not unreasonable and tried to be totally transparent; detailing the tasks that I required and even offering for them to visit beforehand to ensure they quote correctly. The cleaner mentioned that the flat was dirtier than expected when she finished cleaning but if she has mentioned that at the start then we could have increased price etc. Refusing to clean the outside windows when we had previously agreed made a meal out of a very simple request. I had a tenant moving in the next day and could have done without this hassle especially as I had very clearly detailed what I required. As I say the cleaning was fine and if you have your own equipment and supplies – I am sure they will do a very good job. As for communication and customer service; well they hardly exist. The cleaning had got on top of me so I needed someone to come and do a deep clean through the whole house. I'm so pleased with the service at Grace International. They responded very quickly, were clear with their quote and were helpful when I had some queries. Hire this so called company at your peril. Having hired them based on the profile and reviews on Bark to do a one off deep cleaning job after building work, I am now living to regret it. Damage to my brand new wooden floor, consisting of a 1.5 metre long scrape was hidden by a rug. There was a dead fly and dirt and dust under my sofa. The red flags should have been flying when Cecilia the company director turned up 30 mins late and without a mop. I have requested insurance details and now being met with silence which indicates, appallingly that they are going into peoples homes and offices, without any cover. GICS, Strives to satisfy our customers and leave them delighted. We have not charged you for todays deep clean so the cost can be used to varnish the scratch on the floor. You advised us today that you would contact your floor man to come sand and varnish the scratch on the floor. The sofa was moved to clean the dirt under it causing the scratch. We usually let our customers inspect the cleaning work to their satisfaction before leaving. You inspected the cleaning to your satisfaction before we left. Customers provide their cleaning materials for the job. We use our cleaning products when there is none for an additional fee. Our cleaning materials is stored in the car. Todays appointed was initially booked for 9:30am and you changed it to 11:30am because you had an appointment and you could not leave your little dog whilst we are in the flat cleaning. you the changed the time to 11:45am again. We did indicate to you that due the changes within short notice, we will be arriving late as we would struggle to work with the time due to short notice.

We contacted Grace International Cleaning Services when our existing cleaner was unable to meet need. We operate several properties across the Brighton area that receive a lot of wear and tear owing to the nature of tenants needs. Grace ICS was quick to respond, quick to view, quick to quote and quick to undertake works on my rather strict timetable.

They completed all cleaning tasks to a very high standard and all our tenants and workers are very happy with the outcome. They were professional and capable throughout.
