We selected George as our wedding videographer and everything was great leading up to the wedding. Georges prices were fair in comparison to other suppliers, we also had a few Zoom calls before the wedding to run through everything.
On the day of the wedding George arrived on time, was very professional and we couldn’t have been happier with the services he provided.
Unfortunately things took a turn for the worst after the wedding. The editing process was meant to take about 6 weeks. However this time passed and I’d heard nothing from George, I followed up for an update and he took quite sometime to respond to me. At this point he informed me of the devastating news that my footage had been lost due to an error with his SD card or something of the sort. After this George did reassure us he was trying his best to fix the issue and he would be in touch with updates or a refund if the footage would be unable to be recovered.
As you can imagine I was absolutely heartbroken to hear this news, all the memories from my special day were lost. What was even sadder was I had to continually chase George for updates and I was very patient throughout this whole recovery process. I gave him weeks between emails hoping there would be good news, but after months of waiting we decided to ask for a refund and leave it there. Even this process required me to chase him twice asking for him to refund the money. At the very least I would have expected frequent communication with updates (good or bad) but didn’t receive this which made the experience that much worse.
It’s a shame to leave this review as George did deliver what we expected on our wedding day, but unfortunately we have nothing to show for it and our memories are lost forever
