Looking over the market I found futureproofsolar and got a quote, it was one of the cheapest quotes, I was able to check all their credentials prior to even contacting them.
I was contacted by Liam who gave me multiple options of systems with some recommendations based on my usage. There was no hard upsell.
Liam submitted all the paperwork and sorted the DNO very quickly.
Scaffolding was put up by a nice group of lads, shows that they pre vet scaffolders prior to working with them.
The day of install came, they came nice and early, was very quick and did a very tidy job. After it was installed I was shown around the app and how to use the app.
The system was working on day 1, feeding into the battery and the energy my house was using. After I made the final payment I was sent the completion pack with the certificates. Liam offered to help me complete the export tariff sign up form over the phone.
FutureproofSolar was available over the phone and email to answer all my questions.
I would strongly recommend contacting Futureproofsolar if you are looking at getting solar and/or a battery installed.
System installed :16 x455w Akio all black panels (split 8&8 on either side of house), GivEnergy gen 3 5.2kw battery, GivEnergy 5kw hybrid inverter, bird netting, black rails, 10 GivEnergy smart plugs.

Install complete. Very efficient and timely install, the scaffolders, electrician and panel fitter have all been excellent, patient with our questions and going through how the equipment works, how to use the app, the project from first contacting Liam and throughout to finish has been fantastic! all in all - a job well done

Unfortunately employed a roofer to help them rectify a mistake made by the fitters and now won’t answer his calls of pay him. Unfortunately a common story of trades people not paying other trades. Wrong screws used Piercing brand new felt which would have allowed water ingress. Roofer then spent the full day with the fitter taking the entire roof off new felt and batons again. And they haven’t even covered materials this was July 4th. More...

From the first phone call through to completion, Future Proof Solar have been great keeping us informed as to the status of our installation through to sending through the certificate so we can export back to the grid.
We have been looking to instal solar panels for a number of years and from the first visit John put our minds and rest. After surveying the roof John spent a couple of hours going through the calculations making sure that we had the optimal set up. (9 panels + battery storage).
The installation went smoothly and we are now happily generating our own electricity.

I cannot recommend these guys enough. Excellent quality products, customer service second to none. Informative, educational without condescension, honesty and integrity seems high on the list. No harsh sales tactics, with just straight up talk, exactly what you need when taking the plunge with your investment. The estimation and figures speak for themselves so no need for pushy sales speil. Top rate comms throughout. Dealing with tricky fitting and last minute changes with no resistance and only a vigor to deliver. Nothing seems to be too much to handle. Really glad I reached out to Future Proof Solar. Excellent customer service. At the initial meet John was very informative - spending nearly two hours measuring up, explaining how things would all work, answering any questions and working together to find a system that worked for our lifestyles. Two days later we had a very competitive quote including diagrams, specifications and facts about the performance of the system. We were very happy with quote and we went ahead. Within two weeks we had the system fully fitted and working including panels, battery and car charger. The instal team were friendly and helpful giving us updates to tweaks to the design in order to fit with the look of the house.
