Professional and friendly service, would highly recommend using Fresh Cleans

I booked with this company. The phone calls and emails were over the top. I was quoted quite a high price per cleaning hour but managed to reduce it to £18 ph. The following email stated my next monthly visit would be £18.50. Small amount I know, but not what was agreed. I was asked to pay in advance the day before by giving them my card details. I declined this and told them so by email. However, the person did come the following day at the allotted time, as I opened door the cleaning company were already on the phone to her before she had even entered the threshold asking for my card details. apparently she was told to phone them when she arrived at my house. I reluctantly gave them my card details over the phone before any work commenced. I have never paid a cleaner in advance of her work before. I felt that if they did not have any trust in me as a client, why should I trust them. The cleaner had been with the company just over a week and had never even met them. I did not have a problem with her although not up to the standards that I have been used to and needed advice on certain things, but that was fine. Does not merit what they are charging and not the sort of company I would use again. Maybe they have jolly good staff on their books, but I certainly wouldn't work for this company. We also gave options for a bank transfer if you were not happy to enter your details using the secure link. From the moment I booked this company I was disappointed, I should’ve known that on the day of my booked end of tenancy clean, (for my mother who has dementia & moving into a care home! ), they wouldn’t turn up and true to form, they did not turn up.
The incompetence started when they couldn’t get my email address on the booking correct, despite me emailing a few times to clarify my email!
Then their booking portal says “cash” (at the time of clean) but I was told on the morning of my booked clean, “we don’t take cash” and I was supposed to figure out that I should’ve changed “cash” to “card” & input my card details.

On the morning of the booking, they call and tell me the cleaners are running late. Then another call to tell me that actually there are no cleaners and they couldn’t get hold of anyone!
I would avoid this company like the plague. They turned, what I thought was an organised and stress free day for my mum, to an absolute nightmare. More...

Unfortunately due to staff illness, there were touch points which are routinely made that were missed from our admin team, and then illness on the morning from the cleaner made it very difficult to organise another person with short notice. Very good communication from Francois and very responsive on phone and email. I needed a house clean, especially the bathrooms which had a lot of limescale build-up. Just brilliant! 2 hours every 2 weeks to do those silly cleaning jobs, like the front of cupboards, and doorframes etc. that I just don't get around to. Thoroughly recommended.
