Hypnotherapy with Peter was recommended to me for insomnia and anxiety. Honestly I was skeptical at first but I’m so glad I gave it a try.
From the first session, I felt more at ease. The sessions helped me access a deeper level of relaxation than I thought possible. Overtime I started noticing changes not just to my sleep but in how I handled every day stress and anxious thoughts. I fall asleep more easily. My anxiety hadn’t disappeared completely but it’s no longer running my life. If you’re struggling with similar issues, I highly recommend giving hypnotherapy a go.

Not only did I find Peter a very good therapist, but he was also a very good friend. Pure brilliance. Reassuring. He taught me how to feel good, positive, and confident about myself once again. I wasn’t sure what to expect from hypnotherapy and am so pleased with everything I have gained from the sessions with Pete. I had been struggling for quite a long time but hiding it well and carrying on as normal. Pete has done such a great job of retraining my brain and giving me back my confidence and zest for life. I found the hypnotherapy very relaxing and still use the audio regularly. Peter was brilliant from start to finish, very clam and methodical approach, from the start i saw and felt a massive difference in myself, even now friends and family say they see a change in me too, which is great to know that I feel better within myself and other people see it to. Hypnotherapy

Well... Where do I start , I went into this with a sceptic mindset towards hypnotherapy but Peter assured me on such a path of acceptance and my mind was opened up completely. Each session we did was a deeper and better understanding of who I am and where I want to be and my mind and body started to act and see the way I wanted, my stress was easily demolished and my sleep was massively improved just simply by the way Peter was telling. I can't be more grateful for how he has helped me become and better person in many ways and help alter my life forever I've already highly recommended him to friends and family and I suggest it to whomever reads this too. I was a smoker for about 30 years, by the end I was getting through 75-100g of rolling tobacco a week. It was costing me a fortune, couple that with a fitness test that saw me being the least fit in my cricket club, I decided to finally do something about it. I had tried various methods before, Will Power, Nicotine replacement patches, all the usual, to no avail, so
I contacted Pete at Free to Be Hypnotherapy for a course of Smoking cessation hypnotherapy.
He came around to my house, talked me through the process, gave me some information on how much and how soon I could expect to see some positive change.
After the sessions it was all done, the urge to smoke was gone. It was as easy as that, no looking back, no cravings, just completely gone, as if I'd never even smoked.
I've saved a fortune and started running and cycling regularly and feeling fitter than I have in a long long time.

So I was a bit sceptical about using hypnotherapy to begin with but after suffering with depression, anxiety and low self esteem all of my life and having tried different types of counselling with limited success I decided I had nothing to lose.

Peter talked me through the process in a free one hour consultation. I liked Peters calming and relaxed approach so decided to go ahead with it. Peter sent over an audio recording which I listened to the night I got it. I woke up the next morning already feeling like a changed man. I was so excited for the actual sessions to begin. Peter’s approach is so good.

I have had my eight sessions and can easily say that this is the best money I have ever spent. It really has changed my life.

I no longer over think things, I am so much happier, confident and relaxed. I am able to recognise my triggers and ask myself if things are worth worrying about and the answer is no!

For me the best feeling from all of this is the fact that friends and family have noticed a big change in me.

Peter is such a lovely guy, as I said previously, he is relaxed, calming and talks so much sense.

For anyone considering using Free to be Hypnotherapy, I can’t praise Peter or his methods highly enough. He has genuinely changed my life in 8 weeks.

I worked with Peter for 8 weeks and I found him to be very friendly, polite and professional. Initially I didn’t want to work with a man, I would have preferred a female, but I’m glad I went with Peter in the end. He put me at ease and I felt comfortable in each sessions.

Hypnotherapy

Positively life changing!
From deferring all decisions to others as I was living with crippling anxiety to making all decisions with ease and confidence. I knew this type of therapy was compatible with me (tried previously) but I am shocked by the amount my life has changed!!!! I actually feel like I have MORE time in my day......I have started a hobby.....I finally have control of my life, I'm living the way I want. This is an amazing journey and Peter is an amazing guide, informative, supportive and just an Amazing person. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, for helping me be true to myself and for showing me I always had the ability and confidence, I trust in myself.
I still need to work on my awareness, particularly around my smoking and the fags that make me "invincible" (Peter will understand).

I cannot put into words how incredible this has been for me. It has been completely like changing. Peter, from the very first initial contact put me at ease and made me realise that anxiety does not have to be my life. He took the time and effort to explain the process and how the therapy worked, a guided me to becoming a better version of myself.

Therapist

I contacted Bark to look for therapy locally, and truthfully was quite sceptical at the concept of hypnotherapy. Peter offered an hours free session to talk through the concept and we did that over zoom, which was really comfortable. After which I paid for my first taster session before booking out the remainder of the course.

The course itself was not what I expected, as it was so much more focused on the positives within myself rather than the standard therapy sessions I’ve been to. The actual hypnotherapy side itself was much more of a relaxed time to really chill out and focus on the good, rather than my pre conceptions of the cliche ‘hypnotherapy’.

I would really recommend Peter, as not only was he exceptionally professional and incredibly easy to get on with throughout, he is very accomplished in the methods used and his sessions genuinely had a profound affect on me, much more so than many other sessions I’ve attended for other therapy.

Overall I was incredibly happy with the service and wouldn’t hesitate to use it again or recommended it to friends and family, which I do.

Hypnotherapy

I finished my sessions two weeks ago. I’ve waited to review just to see how I feel… it’s a surreal feeling to feel at peace after years of running on stress.
Before sessions I found I could bottle stress, manage it myself for days/weeks at time but eventually I’d have overload in some form.
Breaking point for me was dreading work, dreading going home and dreading seeing anybody. This was impacting my sleep, health and my hormones and to say I was exhausted is an understatement.
I sourced help from two local therapists but talking got me nowhere, I knew I needed a solution.
Peter reached out to me after my enquire on bark.
My first meeting was great, gaining knowledge on what Peter does and how it came to be. The intro session itself was relaxing and I felt smoothed and could have literally fallen asleep from the feeling of relief. I felt this was a great sign for professional compatibility.
4 sessions in and I was Al reading feeling better, I started enjoying work again and I enjoyed being at home.
I stopped trying to stifle emotions and found I could just let them pass. I recognised good in my life and filtered out the bad. I felt myself improving each week. It was bizarre being without stress, I felt I had to try and look for it but it wasn’t there.
On session 8, I felt a sense of, I don’t need these anymore. I am content. I got exactly what I wanted, to feel peaceful. I haven’t had overload since sessions started. I no longer ponder on stressful moments and can manage what I am given.
The relief is second to none and is exactly what I needed.

Working with Pete as my therapist was just great. He really helped me sort out my life and thought processes. He was friendly and approachable and I looked forward to each session as I could see the improvement in myself. I was surprised at how fun and thought provoking each session was and that made it so much easier than I thought. My insomnia was so debilitating and long standing,I had tried many remedies,had read all there was to read on the subject,but not tried therapy.
