My son had his first guitar lesson today ???? The teacher was brilliant and my child listened the most attentively I have ever seen over the period of the lesson, and remembered the letter names of the 6 strings! Due to how it was taught in a fun way. I had no idea how on earth a beginner lesson for a 7 year old would be like. My daughter who is 4 also started the group piano lessons last week which are brilliantly planned to introduce musical concepts from a variety of angles that will build a fantastic base for developing piano and music skills, and she also loves it. The first lesson of guitar in Forte was amazing for my two boys (5 and 7 years old). They loved it so much that today we are on a trip to buy them a guitar each. A really great teacher and in general a very great music school. More...

What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing the look of sheer joy on my pupils' faces when they have learned a new song and perform it to the rest of the class. Forte music classes are great fun, which creates a fantastic learning environment, and that's what I love!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always run my own business, but when Paul Myatt, one of the directors of Forte Music School in Australia, started talking about the Forte Schools and their teaching philosophy I was immediately persuaded and, after some training in Sydney, I opened up the first Forte School of Music in England in September 2018 and haven't looked back since!
