I chose this place as they use Only Curls and I wanted to test whether my frizzy unruly straight hair was actually wavy, without paying for new products and failing! They suggested booking in for a normal cut, but that they'd use the Only Curls to wash it. Catherine was really welcoming, double checked before cutting the large amount of hair I wanted cutting off first and talked me through the process, answering questions I had. Turns out it is much curlier than I thought it was! I contacted Jade at very short notice to arrange wedding hair. She was very obliging and managed to arrange Jess to do the hair. On wedding hair trial Jess was a lovely talented girl who was happy to try many styles. On the day she arrived in very good time, she was lovely to spend time with as she prepared me and my bridesmaids. We were all delighted with our hair and it lasted until carriages at midnight. Loyal customer who spends a significant amount per year let down 4.5 hours before appointment. Appointment made weeks before and work diary arranged to allow for this appointment re a key personal event. Sadly I've taken the time to escalate to owner as soon as I got the call, 36 hours later I've still not received a response to the concerns about my experience. Horrendous customer experience. Cancelled my next appointment due in 2 days based on yesterday's events and seriously considering cancelling future appointments I've also got booked. Very upset client. Update 8.7.24 Factually incorrect stance from Jade after defensive reply on here and via email..how not to do it in my opinion. Please corroborate your facts with Lily & Lottie from my time of booking 22.6.24 for appt 5.7.24 - your team very much instructed me not to pay deposit as it was a £10 blow dry. Equally again it was not a 2 hour appointment they booked me in for. Woefully investigated before replying Jade. First time I have visited the salon, I was looking for a hairdresser who can do pixie cuts, I saw on their price list that they have a specific price for them so I booked straight away, I wasn't disappointed.
