Two Ikea wardrobes to be constructed, one was done without any issues and to a good standard. - Really good

The second has a 2. 5cm gap on one side so the sliding doors do not close properly. The floor is horizontal and the walls are vertical. The doors appear to be fitted and are horizontal but carcass is at an angle

The wardrobes were fitted Wednesday 3rd Jan. I contacted by message on the following day and he eventually verbally agreed to return on Tuesday 9th to rectify it. On Tuesday 9th I waited in for him to arrive, I heard nothing. Since that time I have telephoned him and sent messages on numerous occasions. I have had no contact.
It is easy to be good when things go well, how you resolve issues is more important. I have tried to be really fair but difficult if there is no response. More...

DEFINETLY Wouldn't recommend promised to come back to finish the job gave false promise on text message he took full payment too.
Told us after contacting him again he would come back for petrol money. Never turned up .

Hi Liza. The job was completed for you for what ikea delivered. I was due to come over to fit the drawers in the wardrobe but unfortunately was held up at another job. I can’t just drop everything to come and help you when I have other commitments! I was unfortunately off my phone all day today as I took my daughter to climb snowdon for her birthday present. I was going to call when I got home but read this review and I don’t think I’ll be coming back now. I think the thing you also forgot to put in your review is that I also hung a mirror and surrounding lights free of charge for you whilst I was there so to say that I took payment for a job not done is totally untrue. I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to drive an hour to fit 2 drawers for you today and that you weren’t patient enough to wait for my response!

Matt was very professional and tidy as he worked. He built a 3 door wardrobe for me , i bought from Very, it was a nightmare due to some holes not matching up but he worked longer to solve it, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend!

Matt came at very short notice when I had been let down by a Task Rabbit at the last minute after clearing rooms ready for new furniture. Saved me a lot of ££, insulted my PAX wardrobes really quickly and professionally! Definitely recommend him he did a great job!

Damaged my £700.00 Baby Cot!
He installed the base of the cot the wrong way around, when we went to unscrew the bolts to fix the issue, to our shock he'd drilled in the bolts rather than using the Allen key provided, irreparably damaging the bolts.
This has left us unable to fix the error he made on the cot.
We tried to contact "flat pack matt" on several occasions,
no reply!
He told us he's "done hundreds of cots", this is clearly not the case.
He's attempted to rush putting up the cot, using a drill which the instructions said NOT to use, and destroyed our furniture!

Hi. I can only apologise for this. I was on holiday and did try to contact you on my return. As far as I’m aware, the cot was assembled as per the instructions. I have since messaged you and offered to come and check for you. I’ve had no reply from you but am still happy to come over and check for you, thanks.

Matt was very professional in his work. Arrived on time, and got the job done earlier then initially estimated. Saved me ££ by using his services rather than Task Rabbit and getting the same service, if not better. Would definitely recommend! :)
