We had our gas fire fitted on Monday and we're delighted with the result. From the initial survey we were advised on a range of fires suitable for the property. and then fortunately due to a cancellation we had our fire fitted within a week. The fitters arrived at the agreed time, they were friendly and adhered to covid protocols. The job was completed in a timely manner and the 2 workmen cleaned up before leaving. Just used Fireplaces and Heating limited and can’t recommend them enough. We were struggling to find a company that would create the false chimney, plaster and install the fire from start to finish. This company does exactly that! Simon was very informative about the different fires and the whole process from start to finish was so easy. We have recently bought and had two log burners installed from Fireplaces & heating and can’t recommend them highly enough. They carried out a survey and recommended a fire that fits perfectly in its surroundings. Simon has been a pleasure to deal with, very professional and understanding. They have had to accommodate lots of building work and covid 19. The fitter James, had done an excellent job, he left the area very clean & tidy. He has even offered to come back and show us the best way of using the log burners, which we will take him up on when circumstances allow. Professional, polite and courteous from start to finish. Had my old dated fireplace upgraded to a modern hole in the wall one. Really happy with the service from initially entering the showroom to browse with no pushy sales strategies and good, honest advice, right up to the day it was fitted. The guys done a fantastic job, were super quick and left the place tidy. Prices were competitive and we had no hassle at any point, wish more tradesman were as good as these guys! We popped in to make an enquiry about the fitting of a woodburning stove.After a good chat with Kieran in the shop we booked a same day survey and decided to go ahead with the fitting. One week later we had a beautiful functioning stove keeping us toasty . The guys arrived in good time on the day and got stuck in to the task of ripping out our old gas fire and on their advice we had the fireplace opened up further to ensure that our stove fitted beautifully. The stove was fitted professionally and and skilfully in one day and we are so pleased we went ahead with it.
