How long have you been in business?
Extra Help was born ten years ago in Plymouth. Since then we have grown to approximately 40 locations across the UK. This includes Slough, Over Farnham Common Gerrards Cross and West Drayton and the surrounding areas. We are also extremely proud to be Friends of Dementia, which is a subject very close to my heart.
Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
Usually, clients prefer us to use their own preferred cleaning supplies and equipment, but if a client does need us to bring our own supplies, then this can be discussed when we meet.
What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people - simple as that! I see Extra Help as an extension of me and what I love to do and it is of paramount importance that everyone is happy with the work that we do. I take pride that our work is carried out to the highest standard, but carried out with a smile as well! Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than to see a job done well.
Why should our clients choose you?
I think we're unique - literally a one-stop shop for all of your at-home services required. Our list of services is not exhaustive and if there's something that's not on the list that you need help with, then we will do our utmost to try to make sure that the job required gets done!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All of our wonderful team are strictly following Government Guidelines in relation to Covid-19. This includes practicing social distancing - some clients prefer to leave the house as the Home Help arrive, or remain in another room whilst our Home Help is there. All Team Members will wear gloves and a mask for the duration of the client visit. In additional, everyone carries a letter with them confirming full details of their role within Extra Help.
