This dreadful company offers 'Fast, Friendly and Professional' service. In fact, they offer NONE of these! After a distressing burglary, we had to find a locksmith fast and I failed to check feedback and do my research properly. The locksmith who arrived was not friendly but appeared to do a good job. However, 3 weeks later, my husband was working in the garden and I went to speak to him and closed the door behind me. On trying to re-enter, the door handle was hanging loose and we were locked out. As I have advanced cancer, wasn't wearing a coat and had no access to my pain relief or a loo, we were very concerned. Had there been a pan on the cooker or a sleeping grandchild, we would have had to smash a window. We had no phone or any way of being sure of how to contact the correct company. Luckily, we found what looked like their advert via a neighbour. We explained our predicament on a borrowed phone but the company wouldn't or couldn't say whether they had installed the lock 3 weeks earlier! After a very long wait (certainly not within an hour as they promise) an extremely surly and unpleasant man arrived. He tried to say we had only had a new lock and not a handle (the Police actually took away the broken handle!) and would have to pay again. When able to enter the house, we showed the man the invoice. He turned his back on me, refused to answer any questions as to why it broke and I felt very intimidated and frightened and had to remove myself from the situation. The locksmith fitted a white handle instead of the chrome one we requested. We are pensioners and felt very badly treated. I complained to Mr Gibbins by email and his replies have all been rude, cavalier and sarcastic. I asked him to use my title and not my Christian name and he continued to use my Christian name anyway. There was no apology and no explanation, other than he was 'sure it wouldn't happen again'. Why is he so sure? Does he know it was either defective or badly fitted? Finally, Mr Gibbons said he would arrange for a chrome fitment if 'I gave him my address'. His staff have been to my house TWICE and he also gave us an invoice which shows our address!!! What sort of service is this???? I expect Mr Gibbins will refute this review but the facts are this. NOT fast, NOT friendly and NOT professional. I feel so intimidated that I would rather keep the white handle than have these unpleasant people on my property and also fear they would do further 'damage' deliberately to teach me not complain about their disgusting rudeness and poor service. We replaced a faulty handle at no cost for this customer and we have offered to switch out to preferred colour, but the customer seems more intent on complaining than resolving issues . All of our work and parts are guaranteed, we have been trading for over 30 years and have thousands of satisfied customers.
