A good service for me as a landlord from start to finish, from first meeting with the agent in order to discuss everything through to tenants moving in with pre-move inventory completed prior. I used the tenant-find service as I am generally able to self-manage with the help of a good team of local tradespeople. The only reason I didn’t award 5 stars was that the letting agent revealed to prospective tenants that I’d previously had “difficult tenants” which, whilst true, I don’t feel was appropriate, as it gave prospective tenants some leverage to make a lower offer than I was hoping for. It did, on occasion, feel that the agent was working for the tenants more than they were for me! However, I’d recommend. Maybe just some discretion required in circumstances such as these. More...

Having recently sold my parents house through EweMove under sad circumstances I can do nothing other than give them 5 Stars. If I could give more I would. Tom Pate was extremely professional as were all of their staff. They all kept us up to date with developments at every stage and were always easy to get in touch with when necessary. The process was very much client focused. Tom even did things for us on his day off as he lives nearby. The photos, videos and marketing were first class. At 57 I’ve had experiences with many estate agents and can say that this was by far the best. No getting the agent to use my own photos this time (I’m a semi professional photographer). I used them after a recommendation from a friend and am so pleased I did. We got a quick offer at a fair price. Then their sales progressor Helen Whitworth was brilliant at chasing solicitors and providing regular sales progression updates. On top of this I really liked both Helen and Tom as people. Service with empathy and a smile. Get other agents to give you valuations too for a good market appraisal but then go with Ewe Move. Thanks everyone at EweMove. Ewe Move Stafford (Mike Bailey) aka man with the cap, acted on behalf of our sellers so showed us around our new home to be a few months ago. Mike was friendly and informative throughout the viewing and helped negotiate a price both parties were happy with. Mike made himself available at anytime of the day or evening to respond quickly to any messages on his personal mobile. Once things got moving, Tara kept us informed of the chain updates though at times we were up to speed anyhow as our solicitors were great at keeping us informed but she was a great help updating their portal for us. Mike was there on move in day to hand us the keys and provided a really customer focussed experience, thanks Mike and Tara! I am so relieved that I no longer have to deal with this company. Back in 2021, I rented a house through Ewemove as I was new to the UK and unfamiliar with the rental market. It was my first time renting, and I ended up with a property that appeared fine on the surface but was riddled with hidden issues. The house had major problems, such as a leaking ceiling, holes in the roof, moldy walls, extremely poor EPC rating, and uneven flooring. Instead of addressing these issues properly, the company covered them up with a fresh coat of paint. It wasn’t until after I moved in and experienced a few bouts of rain that these defects began to emerge. Ewemove's agents only ever patched up the immediate problems without advising the landlord to fix the root causes before renting out the property. One of the most ridiculous incidents was a water leak that occurred in December but wasn’t repaired until February. To make matters worse, the company later lied to us, claiming the landlord intended to sell the house, which forced us to move out quickly. At that time, I was heavily pregnant, working full-time, and had to spend all my free time searching for a new home. The stress this caused my husband and me was immense. After my daughter was born, I had to use my maternity leave to visit properties while carrying my newborn. Thankfully, we eventually found a new place and could move out immediately. After we moved out, Ewemove demanded we forfeit our full deposit and even pay an additional £400 for repairs. Upon reviewing the breakdown of costs, we discovered that over £1,000 had been spent on redecorating the property, with the agent even charging us for natural wear and tear, which tenants should not be held liable for. In contrast, the management company for our new home has been a breath of fresh air. For example, when something broke on a Monday, they had it repaired by Thursday of the same week. If not for Ewemove’s incompetence and laziness, I wouldn’t have realized how efficient property management companies could actually be. To my knowledge, our old house has already been rented out again. I sincerely hope the new tenant has good luck. I strongly recommend against using Ewemove. Their service is misleading, unprofessional, and will leave you stressed and frustrated. Avoid them at all costs. More...

Had great hope at the start, the agent got a sale for me and kind of negotiated but last week, when it was crutcial she didn't answer my calls and has yet to return them. Also, I thought I was being kept informed but an important bit wasn't shared with me. I have never had the emails allegedly sent to me regarding the offer, etc. She has never once called me by my name or addressed me in messages, rude. I have now had to instruct my solicitor to negotiate with the other side which will no doubt cost me more money, so paying agent for very little, that's if the sale goes ahead. *Ewemove response says they'll contact the branch, they don't even know which branch, so just a standard reply! Second time I’ve used Ewe Move Beverley. Last time was in 2016 when they did a great job for us and they still remembered me. After our house had been up for sale for a year we were advised that Ewemove Agents did things differently by friends in other parts of the Country So was pleased to Contact Daljit Rai of Ewemove in Washington Houghton Le Spring. We were assured that contact could be made at all hours day and night and they would be answered. This proved to be true. Daljit organised a Drone Camera visit and took some very attractive shots of the site, showing it off brilliantly. Within a week of going live we had a buyer and Daljit helped at every stage answering any queries quickly and keeping in touch with buyers and Solicitors in the chain. Very disappointed with the service from EweMove Camberley. Property to let added to the market on 31st October. Total of six enquiries made between 1st-11th Nov to view property (four by email, two phone calls where I spoke to two different members of staff). Did not receive any communication from them to view property aside from confirmation emails to say my requests had been received. Staff member who I spoke to this morning (11th) advised that the property was still for let and that someone would be in contact by phone today to arrange viewing. No phone call received. Generic email received this evening to say that property had been let (with multiple email addresses of other prospective tenants on the email trail!) This was a difficult sale for us as it was the result of a marital split and Ben did such a fantastic job of meditating between us. When I was choosing an Estate Agent to sell my home in Yeovil I had a plethora of choice - after seeing the big chains, I decided I’d speak to some independents. I am very pleased I did - Paul came round and walked me through their process, having never sold a house before I was not sure what to expect. We had a selection of 4 estate agents provide valuations & details of their services, and it was a foregone conclusion that we were going with Ewemove (Spalding). David Kruse was so friendly & professional, and showed that he had such a great knowledge of the industry and movement of local properties. He could see the potential in our property, that we had spent lots of time & money on and reflected that accurately in the achievable value. We have never dealt with someone that is so positive, helpful, trustworthy and dedicated to customer satisfaction. David helped us to achieve a great warranted price, where the other estate agents had valued quite a lot lower - possibly as they wanted that quick sale and not overly concerned about the knock on effect to their customers. Giving a 2-star rating only because the house is finally sold! It’s been a long and complicated journey. As ex-pats, we decided to sell our property through EweMove while it was still rented out. Initially, EweMove performed well—they set up the adverts, attracted viewings, and managed the process effectively. We received an offer and things seemed to be on track. Then, the tenants decided they didn’t want to move out, and that’s when everything took a turn. EweMove’s patience wore thin, and the original contact (Mason) disappeared without notice, leaving us with the ‘Branch Director,’ Chris Wells. Unfortunately, Chris’s communication style was curt and pressuring, expressing frustration over the tenant situation. Selling a property is already stressful, but managing this process from abroad while relying on an agent adds a layer of complexity. Instead of providing support, Chris frequently urged us to push the tenants to vacate—a suggestion that, as I later discovered, can be legally dubious. When I mentioned this, Chris claimed he wasn’t aware, as he “didn’t handle that department.” After eventually resolving the tenant issue, the sale went through. However, when it came time for solicitors to verify EweMove’s bank details over the phone, both they and I received passive-aggressive emails questioning why verification was necessary. This could have been resolved with a simple phone call, but instead, I had to insist on it to prevent delays in payment. Why was this necessary? It felt completely unprofessional. Since then, we haven’t heard a word from EweMove—no confirmation of the sale, no thank-you, nothing. The only follow-up I received was a forwarded WhatsApp message from the buyer requesting additional keys. When I asked if EweMove had received payment, there was no response whatsoever.
