I posted a large landscaping project on Bark just before Christmas last year, and Eddie approached me immediately. Since it was a sizable undertaking, Eddie visited the site multiple times to take measurements and confirm the details. Ultimately, he provided a quote and divided the project into several stages, encompassing tasks such as clearing the garden, laying the patio, setting up fences, laying block paving and etc. Before commencing the project, Eddie requested a 25% deposit. Given the proximity to Christmas and out of kindness, I agreed, thinking it would help him have a better holiday and lead to high-quality work in return. However, within the first few days of the project, Eddie began asking for additional funds. He claimed to have encountered unexpected tasks not accounted for in his original quote. However, due to my trust on him, I paid him all the extra money (about 3,000) he requested. Two weeks into the project, Eddie requested more funds to continue the work. I then suggested spreading the payments according to the stages of his work, but he refused. Instead, he reassured me that he would finish the entire project for the initially agreed-upon price. He even threatened to cease working if I did not pay him the requested amount. Due to my trust on him, I kept paying him all the money he requested until I noticed that I had paid him nearly half the money (excluding the money I paid for the unexpected tasks) of the project with probably 30% of the work completed. Few days ago when I asked him again if he could finish the project as we agreed, he told me that there is no way he could finish the project with the price we agree initially due to adverse weather (which he never mentioned before) and he asked me to renegotiate a new price with him. I started Mr Wong's job on the 11th of December to clear 1000 square meters of lawn which had trees very large tree stumps and lots of dirt and clay that had to be excavated which we did clearing over 100 tons of dirt clay and tree waste shortly after I started the work Mr Wong left the country and I was unable to talk to him ... The rain and weather made the whole area mud and puddles because of the time of year and the extent of the rain that we had for a couple of weeks a different part of the job was to put up 30 lineal meters of closed board fencing taken away the old fence we completed that and everyone was very happy I also built a patio at the back of his house which was retained at three feet high with steps down we had to build the walls and backfill it with over 120 tons of hardcore which was done the patio was laid in Indian sandstone on wet mix concrete and is perfect I will provide photos of works that we did the reason why I asked for an extensive deposit is because the job was for 50 odd thousand pounds and the extent of the materials and waste away while Mr Wong was not going to be in the country I was not happy to deal with funding it.. before I left Mr Wong's job I supplied an erected 30 lineal meters of closed board fencing 24 metres of Lowell hedging which we supplied in planted I supplied over 115 tons of hardcore I built 30 lineal metres of nine inch walling and backfilled it with hardcore as mentioned above whilst Avent to work around other companies that we're doing the work with scaffolding around the house which restricted the access and the days I could work because of other deliveries from things going on there which was nothing to do with me the whole job took much longer than anticipated because of the weather and the way that we have to work around other companies obviously being there with machines daily and not being able to complete certain aspects of work because of other people and the poor access it took longer than anticipated and obviously that cost me more money because at the time I was there which I explained to Mr Wong kindly and said that we had run out of funding it's taken longer to do than we anticipated because of the access and the weather he was not happy to give me any more deposits after this and obviously I'm no longer doing the job I've never been threatening or anything to any of my customers there are over 30 other references on this side which I've done work for people and everyone is happy if you check all of my other reviews have five star reviews this is my first pore review.. and I'm sure if Mr Wong was in the country to see the works he would have understood what has happened but still to this day he isn't in the country and has left this review from abroad haven't spoken to him face to face since New year I am honest and hard working man with a young family people not understanding the reviews and the way that this has happened can make a very negative impact on my life and my family's life financially so I hope people take the time to realise that the rest of the reviews are nothing like this 🤯

TED from EHL won the contract to landscape my back garden and provide a solution to my parking area.
Ted spent time going through my plan and pointing out issues I had not though of before commencing work.
The whole area was stripped down 18" and taken away. Hardcore was laid in the areas for ceramic slabs and block paving and new topsoil for the lawn and beds. The parking area outside was stripped laid with hardcore and grated gravel.
The results are amazing and will be fantastic in the spring when the newly planted borders bloom.
Ted and his team did sterling job and left the area outside clean and tidy as they went along depite shipping in and out over 100 tons of materials.
A friendly and knowledgable company that I thoroughly recommend.

EHL initially contacted for a paving job and provided the answer and solution for a 5 year search to resolve a serious flooding of a concrete pathway outside our back door.
A significant french drain, duly completed quickly and perfectly.
They also carried out some remedial work to a block driveway installed just 3 years ago from a cambrideshire company, that haven't been able to complete the job, due to a backlog of remedial work!
