We have now been with Edyncare for two and a half years and we are so glad we moved the care of our parents to Edyncare, and away from the other company that had been responsible for their live-in care for a year. Edyncare is exceptional in that we really have the feeling that the staff managing and running the company very genuinely care about providing a very supportive live-in care service for our parents. We always have the feeling that the relevant staff have time to talk to us, if needed. They are proactive in offering monthly reviews. They are very responsive and understand well the sort of carer that our parents like and need. The carer in post is doing an excellent job and we have full confidence in her. Edyncare also understands the importance of consistency of care, securing the same back-up carer whenever possible. Our parents are extremely happy with Edyncare. Edyn Care have been caring for my father (97 in 2 weeks) for nearly 3 years, with excellent carers, who really go out of their way to make him comfortable, very well fed and happy. He is in a wheelchair, but they make sure he is as independent as possible. I was very apprehensive about live in home care for my dad, as his dementia is now quite advanced. I was worried about the pressure. It would put on my mum too.. After I had a long chat with Daniel, and a FaceTime meeting with Oliver and my mum, my mind was put at rest. I met with three potential carers on zoom. I have to say, it was a hard choice. They were all lovely. I have been impressed from the very beginning with the way that the team work together, the contact I’ve had and how personable they all are. They have all had a hand in making this process very straightforward and without stress enabling my dad a to be home with my mum and a wonderful carer within one week. This is a scam! They recruit many people and on the site, there are just 4-5 placements that you must apply but they never call to ask you about your ability to work…I called them a few times and all I heard was apply on the site. Few days I have been lyied that a care coordinator would contact me and of course, no one called! When I keep calling a member of staff keeps saying “Apply on the site” Where is the point of being part of an agency that couldn't offer a placement?! I started thinking they must have some dodgy interest in collecting people's documents etc but never got a job. Very disappointed! From October no job offer! People apply for a job because they need to work to be able to support themselves and their families, this is disgusting to give empty hope! More...

We used Edyn Care for dad's live in care between November 2022 and June 2023 - they were very professional, very helpful and had good customer support, thanks to Tilda, Orianne, Issop, Diana and Angela for your help. On the caring front thanks to Warren, Susan and Mercy who were dad's main live in carers. There will always be issues and problems when providing this complex service for a loved one, it is better in our opinion to get live in care through a company who will help you sort any issues rather than an introduction agency that isn't there when the issues arise. We are so very pleased we switched to this company to care for my mother, and give spousal support to my father, after a very difficult first year with another company. All companies claim they are friendly and caring, but our prior experience with another company was that once a contract was signed, very little was done to address the problems that frequently arose. By contrast, Edyn.care really is both friendly, caring and thoroughly professional in its approach. I don't think I could have believed this, after our previous experience with another company, until we changed to Edyn.care and experienced this directly. We have found everyone who works at Edyn.care to be very professional, friendly and approachable. My parents are very happy with the (alternating) carers now in place. It is a huge bonus to have the same respite carer coming back to relieve the main carer. We found no other company that was prepared to offer this, which is astonishing given the strain for elderly people, or people with dementia, of repeatedly dealing with new people. We haven't had any problems (and it's nearly a year now since we switched) but we are confident that, if we did, these would be addressed in a helpful and supportive manner, as we know that the people at Edyn.care genuinely care about the care my parents receive. In short, I cannot speak highly enough of Edyn.care. (I might add that I don't normally write reviews, but really wanted to share this positive experience.) More...

We had the lovely Sharon found of us by Edyn Care to look after my Grannie whilst my mum was away on holiday twice this year. Sharon was the perfect fit for Grannie. They had topics in common so they could have conversations about art and travel and both seemed to enjoy eachothers company. Plus the Care and attention was excellent with making sure she ate well and got outside when the weather was nice to sit in the sunshine or go for a short walk.
