Stuart House receptionist (or the woman who answers the phones) is incredibly rude and unhelpful. Looking at previous views I am not the only one who thinks so. I was actually so taken aback by her rude tone that for the first time ever I feel compelled to write a review. More...

Visited Stuart house on Tuesday for appointment at Eye clinic. My husband went to side door as he is disabled and using a rollator. The receptionist buzzed him but the door opened towards him. He stepped back to avoid door and stumbled and fell. The receptionist was no help at all. Disgusted with her attitude. He is today having surgery for broken hip.Why o why does the door open outwards ? Everyone at Aces clinic were very helpful. More...

The restaurant is enormous and very clean. I just had a coke but the menu's food must be delicious. The cakes are very good looking and if I wasn't on a diet I would have eaten .... Will go back for a meal ..

Home to the UK Visa and Citizens Application Services in Peterborough, Stuart House is a pleasant venue to await your appointment for these services. There is a cafe on the ground floor open to those applicants, with space to wait to be called near the front. As with any government offices, access is limited to them unless you're with a government official leading you to the proper check-in point. More...

Services

Carers provide one-to-one support to persons in their own home around the clock, ‘24/7’. Carers undertake care and assist living support activities with minimal disruption to the persons living and quality of life in the familiar surroundings of their home. Full time care is a popular and viable alternative to residential care.

Care services are fully flexible, and we provide qualified carers to attend to people’s needs within their own home. The time and duration of the visits are completely up to the client. Visits can be as short as 30 minutes or can consist of several overnight stays, depending on their personal needs. Some of our carers travel to multiple homes during the day and provide short visits to multiple clients, whilst others may stay with one client for a set period of time during the day, at a frequency determined by the clients and their care needs. We further provide respite care, where we can supplement or replace the care provided by family and friends.

We plan to have a positive impact and make a difference to people’s lives through person-centred care; making it all about individual needs. We treat all people with dignity and respect. Our service is confidential, we aim to protect clients, always keep them safe and act in their best interest.
We are keen to ensure that in planning and delivering our care service we involve and build relationships with clients and their friends and family, as appropriate, to continuously deliver relevant care that enhances their everyday lives and improves their general well-being.

We can do so much more than simply providing home care services. In addition to campanionship, we can provide assistance with peoples everyday living and undertake domestic tasks in support of our clients. We can assist with household management (bills and maintenance), shopping, meal preparation, personal care and hygiene, help with managing nutrition, monitor and administer medication and assist with mobility needs.
We can also monitor people’s mental health and all areas of their well-being. We will identify what they can do themselves and where they need assistance. We can assist with travel and support to help clients maintain an active life and pursue their interests and leisure activities. We can support clients with attendance at medical and other appointments. We will also proactively monitor client symptoms and conditions, and signpost to relevant professionals and services where required.

Our care services are customised around individual needs and are therefore ‘person-centred’. Carers will seamlessly fit around the client’s lifestyle, allowing them to continue with their normal routine, safe in the knowledge that help is on hand if they need it.
Once we are contacted or introduced to a client, we will agree a date and time to come and visit the client in their own home. We will listen and understand their care needs, determine, and jointly agree the type of care that is right for them.
We will then begin to deliver the care service. We will endeavor to deliver the best possible care service and regularly ask clients how we are doing and whether any adjustment to our care regime needs to be made. We value feedback and are always looking to improve on the service we offer and our customer’s satisfaction.

Easy Like Sunday Morning will provide a range of high-quality domiciliary care services, including but not limited to the following:
• Assistance with a ‘good morning’ start to the day, with help to get up, wash, shower or bath, get dressed and have breakfast.
• Shopping support - alongside our customer or alternatively we can come in, agree a shopping list, go to the shops, come back and put it all away.
• Preparation of food and drink.
• Ensuring a timely prompt for medication when due.
• Undertaking domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry and ironing either on a regular basis or as a ‘spring clean’, whatever the season.
• Provision of a respite service. For those performing the role of principal carer, that may need support during their time off each week.
• Pampering sessions – the occasional visit to organise bathing, clean clothes, fresh bedding and a thoughtfully prepared meal before bedtime.
• At the end of each day, some help with getting ready for bed.
Once we have considered the sort of care our customer needs, then a member of our team will discuss the customers individual requirements in more detail.
Tailored care packages can include:
• Provision of care services through the night for those people who need them. This can either be on a ‘sleeper night’ basis, where the care worker expects a reasonable night's sleep but is on hand for emergencies, or a ‘waking night’ where the care worker is on duty throughout the night.
• Live-in care – providing a care worker to live with you in your home. Similarly, we often provide live-in care when a customer needs temporary support through a period of convalescence or recuperation when returning from hospital.
• Respite care.
• Palliative and end of life care.

Not everyone gets care right and people don’t always have the right perspective of what caring is and what it should look like. It is an important function that supports people who have care needs, to assist their day-to-day living and general well-being. Our staff are our service, and we value them, including paying above the market rates to reward and retain the best available. Everyone who works for us represents our brand and is part of a team responsible for delivering best practice care services
