How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Fire safety: escape routes and fireproofing must be put in place.
Ventilation: moisture proofing and good ventilation is essential.
Thermal performance: floor, wall and loft insulation is required.
Acoustics: soundproofing will be necessary.

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
There needs to be at least 2.2m between the top of the floor joists and the bottom of the ridge timber. This is so that there is at least 2m of headroom once new floors and beams etc have been fitted. You should also consider the headroom throughout the majority of the room. This is what is deemed a comfortable height.

We offer protection for our team and for the work, and are sufficiently insured (available on demand)
We will repair any issues with our work within a 2 month period post completion. Where anys are deemed to be our fault, we will put right.
We never leave a job unless the customer is 100% satsifed, and its only after this that our final invoice is raised.
What do you love most about your job?
Starting the project knowing what the customer is requiring, and leaving knowing we have made their vision a reality.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We are team based in Colchester, having previously worked at big contractors working on new build schemes.
We noticed there is a market niche in offering a professional services for smaller projects, giving our customers piece of mind and confidence whilst in our care.
