This company provided a terrible service because what they did, they did poorly, plus also they did not even complete the work. There was a promise to return to complete the work which was never met. Also, they turned up at ad hoc times without the courtesy to let me know beforehand (I might not have been in!). Part of the work entailed a loft clearout so that I could have loft insulation installed. Whilst they did that it was not completed, so by the time the loft insulation man came, the loft was still full of rubbish. I had to request DVC came back to empty the loft properly which in fairness they did. Then there was the issue with the guttering, which they simply could not fix. They promised to come back and rectify the issue but never did. I went through the process of having a quote, paying for the work and so on, so they knew the task at hand and it was just not done professionally. I attempted to leave a review with the "checkedandvetted" website but they fobbed me off and would not publish it because it was negative. This makes me think that they probably make up the reviews on that website because if you try and leave anything negative it doesn't get published. All I am trying to achieve is to say to other fair honest customers like me is that I paid a lot of money for this work with this company, and it wasn't even completed let alone done properly - so don't fall for the falsehood of the reviews on checkedandvetted because it may not be what it seems.
