Drums (Grades 1-8) and holds a Grade 1 in ABRSM Music Theory.

What do you love most about your job?
It gives me great pleasure to share my knowledge and experiences with all of my students which enables them to achieve their goals in learning the drums.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love to teach and to introduce the drums to every student I encounter, as well as providing my skills to anyone with the desire to learn the instrument.

I am a confident, positive and enthusiastic drum tutor with the ability to demonstrate my musical skills in order to help
music students achieve their goals. I have recently graduated from UEL (University of East London) with BMus (HONS)
Popular Music Performance (Grade: Upper Second, 2:1).
As part of my main 3rd year module “Music in Education (Grade: Upper Second) I have been required to teach lectures
(including self-reflection). Furthermore, studying this module has developed my skills in providing the best solutions
and sources to support students with meeting their goals and completing a lesson’s objective.
Additionally, I have taught private, individual students (Beginner to Intermediate Level), achieving Grades with
Distinctions and Merits. I am currently Teaching for the ‘Music Maps’ Teaching Agency. I also have Face to Face and
Virtual experience in teaching percussion to groups of students with disabilities at the Leonard Cheshire Disability
Organisation. In teaching environments, I have shown patience and demonstrated a creative and innovative approach.

Yes this can be done but I am currently in the process of purchasing new audio equipment to ensure that the student receives great quality classes from their laptop or phone. I shall update this section of when that will be the case. I do ask the student to be equipped with good quality headphone and having a sturdy table/stand for their device is helpful for enhanced communication

Sebastian is an experienced British Drummer, Sessional Player, Composer and Drum Tutor.
He began to learn the Drums at the age of 6 and went on to complete Trinity Guildhall
Drums (Grades 1-8) and holds a Grade 1 in ABRSM Music Theory.
Sebastian’s versatility ranges from Rock, to Funk, to Jazz and to Classical. During his
secondary school era, Sebastian attended classes at C.Y.M. (Centre for Young Musicians)
consisting of Percussion Ensembles, Symphony Orchestras, Jazz Bands and Music
Technology. Additionally, he was a member of B.Y.W.O. (Barnet Youth Wind Orchestra) and
N.Y.J.O. (National Youth Jazz Orchestra).
Whilst taking a Higher Diploma in Music Performance and ultimately a BMus (Hons) Popular
Music Performance Degree at I.C.M.P. (The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance)
in London, Sebastian has been teaching Drums to beginner and intermediate students
(Privately, in Groups and Virtually). Furthermore, Sebastian has taught Percussion to pupils
with disabilities at the Leonard Cheshire Archive Centre.
Since graduating, Sebastian has continued to extend his musical journey by simultaneously
giving Drum Lessons, permanently joining original acts, performing all over the UK and
Europe with numerous artists and function bands, participating in Music Videos and working
in the studio with various musicians, producers and songwriters.
